I don't care about the IQ thing or the knuckle-head thing. Bynum is doomed to a career of injuries. It's nice that he's gotten a good stretch of health this season. But, you don't bet on a guy of that size with a history of injury. I will gladly take a guy with less talent for a better chance at health.

One had Kobe Bryant on his team and the other has...Terrence Williams and Tyreke Evans.

    DeMarcus easy.

With our luck and his body, Bynum would play 2 games for us then have a career ending injury anyways.

Bynum is so much bigger, and a much better athlete, if he ever matures he will be amazing.

    For two years, Bynum.

But for the rest of their careers, Cousins by a long shot.

bynum has a chance to really be DOMINANT.. i would take him.

now i think the safer pick is cousins though, can't trust bynum's injuries

He's in his 7th year DD... how much more mature do you think he's going to get...

He also has a bad injury history.

And, he is not "so much bigger". He has one inch on Cousins.

I love cousins but one guy is 7'2 280lbs (Bynum) the other is 6'11 and overweight (cousins) they both are very talented but Bynum is a real center and plays both sides of the ball. Cousins on the other hand is very talented and can do may good things on the court but his fg% is the same as a pg thus not good at all. Plus while cousins might become a better defender and I think he will, he will never reach the defensive impact that Bynum is having this yr.

You guys are crazy if u think Bynum is more of a trouble maker than cousins if anything there even. Do you even remember what was going on at the beginning of the season? Cousins was fighting with the then head coach and was asked to stay away from the team, a few days later the coach was fired.

Me personally feel like you have a much higher chance of winning a chip with Bynum over cousins as he plays a lot better defense and is still the more efficient bigger stronger post scorer with better touch around the hoop. I don't even think its close, put Bynum on that kings team and they prob contend for a playoff spot this yr and he would be putting up 25 and 12 a game with great defense.

I like Cousins a lot but I'd roll the dice with Bynum. I realize Bynum is more prone to injuries and he's dumber than **** but still... he's 7 ft and actually plays like it.

Cousins has a good game but he doesn't utilize his size to the fullest ability. He should be way more beastly. I think it should come with due time.

bynum uses his size and weight better than cousins, to be a big presence in the paint.

Cousins does not have that dominating presence in the paint, but makes up for for his great passing ability and mid range jumper that bynum does not have.

Bynum wouldn't put the Kings in playoff contention. They need to get rid of Tyreke, get a real PG, upgrade their SF position, and then maybe they'll battle for a playoff spot.

Cousins play below the rim. You can think of him like Scola. Very crafty and skilled, but not exactly defensive beast. This isn't just about height. Dwight Howard is 6-9/6-10 and is the most impactful defensive player in the game right now.

Of course, Cousins plays in Sacramento where nobody plays defense, so it remains to be seen if this is just a coaching problem. But from what I've seen, he has no chance to be a defensive beast. Bynum has that ability.

Cousins has a 9'5" standing reach and a 27.5" max vert. Unless they changed the rim height to 12' when I wasn't looking, I'm pretty sure Cousins doesn't play below the rim.

Chuck Hayes has a 33" max vertical. That should tell you something about Cousins.

Doesn't matter... the point is, Cousins has an extremely long wingspan and standing reach... he barely even has to jump to play above the rim

when he matures, he'll be slow and old, and probably fat like Chuck Hayes. ;)

It would depend. If I'm trying to win now, Bynum. If I have a few years, Cousins. Bynum's major injuries have all been freak accidents where he landed on a player's foot awkwardly or somebody fell into his knee. He is also a better defender, but Cousins may have a similar presence on the defensive end in a couple of years too. I would love to have either of them on the Rockets. Unfortunately, they have more talent than anybody on Houston's current roster.
