Durant and Rose are the only stars at the moment that I actually respect and like... There has been a handful of players that I used to like that I dislike now (Love, Dwight). Rubio is cool too~
I picked Nash: has handled a very bad basketball situation in Phoenix with an incredible amount of class and professionalism, seems like a guy I'd want to hang out with off the court based on his interviews and his Twitter, and does funny commercials. KD is right up there.
Out of these players... Has to be Nash. Guy is a professional and never complains. Class act right there. KD is up there with Nash but Nash is the best out of this crappy list. Can't believe Rose isn't on here either.
Nash. The way he respects the game. I loved the way he treated Gogi when Goran played so well down the stretch in PHX earlier in the season. Class act. Plus: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/tdNiXidfLcc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Gonna have to go with the greatest African PG of all time. He is going to be the greatest 40 year old to ever play the game. Outstanding character, amazing shooter, possibly one of the greatest playmakers of all time.
"First, I want to apologize directly to the young woman involved in this incident. I want to apologize to her for my behavior that night and for the consequences she has suffered in the past year. Although this year has been incredibly difficult for me personally, I can only imagine the pain she has had to endure. I also want to apologize to her parents and family members, and to my family and friends and supporters, and to the citizens of Eagle, Colo. I also want to make it clear that I do not question the motives of this young woman. No money has been paid to this woman. She has agreed that this statement will not be used against me in the civil case. Although I truly believe this encounter between us was consensual, I recognize now that she did not and does not view this incident the same way I did. After months of reviewing discovery, listening to her attorney, and even her testimony in person, I now understand how she feels that she did not consent to this encounter." - Kobe Bryant Sounds pretty damning to me..... but whatever.... I think that is enough to keep him from being "most likeable". You are correct, he was never convicted of rape.
Gotta be Stevie Nash. Nobody, I mean nobody says anything negative about this guy. Sometimes Durant catches slack for letting Westbrook shoot or whatever, but everybody loves Nash.(myself included)
None of us know what happened. He said what he had to say. He believes it was consensual, she claims it was not. None of us know what happened. Lets not be so quick to judge. I do agree on him not being likeable. He wasn't likeable before the incident tbh. I just shake my head when I hear ignorant statements like that.
