Bench, Bench and Bench everyone on our bench can start and be effective im assuming that martin and lowry will come off the bench. we have lee who can play D and is smart offense player Martin can put score the ball and if he gets it going hard to stop, then dragic at point guard is playing like an all star and lowry was almost an allstar parsons does everything from play D to score rebound he does it all, scola hits the fifteen footer and can shoot and is a master in the post and patterson can when he is feeling make that 15-18 foot jumper and plays hard Dalembert and camby both seven footers who play d and get phiscal and play smart. This is something that no team in the league to me has at every position. with this we match up with every team good. everyone says not having a superstar is bad, i think otherwise instead of reallying on one or two guys so make plays we have 10 who we dont know is going to be leading scorer on a nighly bases but we play as hard as any team in the league... Are you guys nuts? We just beat the Sacramento Kings by 17. We're definitely going to the finals. Just sit back and let that sink in for a while. Bask in the glory that is Houston Rockets basketball.
hey nobody expected us to make the playoffs (except houston fans) when we do everyone just going to say that's great for them but they wont get out of the first round then Bam we win the first round then they say it was a fluke then bam we in the finals.
I like this strategy. You should propose it to the Rockets front office. I don't think anyone's ever considered going from the first round straight to the NBA Finals before. It's brilliant.
im not confident we will make it to the finals, but all of you guys saying we have no chance have no idea what you are talking about... In a 7 game series I dont see this rockets team getting handled easily by anyone, and thats more than you can say for most teams... Once this team is in the playoffs anything can happen.
Talk about putting the cart in front of the horse. If the Rockets are going to go anywhere in the playoffs someone is going to have to step up and make a real name for themselves in the NBA. Right now they are playing true team basketball, but in the playoffs everything is going to slow down and become heroball. I dont know if Scola is going to be as affective against the big teams in the playoffs that he typically isnt as affective against. It probably is going to have to come from Lowry, Dragic, or Parsons. Dragic actually has the best pick n roll style game that could suit him well for a solid playoff run. Either way, if they get in the playoffs they are going to be an interesting team to watch whether your a Rockets fan or not.
