Almost forgot about this without the bump. Thanks for playing. Make sure this guy pays his $10 to the tip jar, Clutch.
Clutch can't do that - it has to be the honor system, if Clutch forced folks he would leave himself open to numerous statutes on gambling. Come on CX.... DD
Yeah, when he implored Clutch to hold him to his word, he was really asking him to try and strongarm him into paying his bets....possibly with a gun or serving legal papers. Force and reminding someone of a verbal commitment are two different things....leave the law to....other people.
Nothing so dramatic I'm sure... CX was probably just implying that Clutch should rookie status the guy or ban him from the forums... right CX?
I thought I called him a point forward first, but searching through the thread, it looks like dobro beat me to it.
He sh@t all over the other SFs picked up infront of him. Tobais Harris (19), Jordan Hamilton (26), Jimmy Butler (30), Tyler Honeycutt (35). I dont think Kyle Singler (33) will come close either. He is definitely a better NBA player then all the PGs picked up infront of him too - Nolan Smith, Reggie Jackson, Norris Cole, Cory Joseph, Shelvin Mack. None of these are guys ever mentioned by anyone. Only the bigs picked infront of him can be justified because Faried and Vuvevic are playing really well and Donatus and Mirotic are still unproven. But he seems to be definitely better then JaJuan Johnson, Jordan Williams or Trey Tompkins. I think he definitely belongs around early 20s. GREAT PICK MOREY!!!!
Sorry, if it wasn't clear I was being sarcastic. I'm pretty sure that's exactly what CX meant....unfortunately, we have 15-20 internet lawyers on this board at any given time.
Reading the first few pages on this thread is fun. So many people hated Parsons and said that he will never make the team lol
What a difference it makes to actually watch more than Youtube highlights before you liken yourself a professional scout when giving your analysis. Im interested to see what happens to Parsons in the playoffs, and people outside of Houston see what he can do.
There's a few people who obviously never watched chandler before seeing him play with us..i will admit I've been ever so surprised by what he has done
haha, reading other chandler parsons threads, and people saying things like: "Don't think Parsons is going to amount to much in the NBA...so anything that gives him PT instead of being stuck on the bench is probably a plus." that was in this thread: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=207164 A lot of people hating him, or thinking he wasnt going to be good enough in this thread: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=206780 Like this: and the thread when he was playing in France during the lockout http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=208526 with quotes like this: "This is about a 2nd rounder poor-man-Steve-Novak who won't even make the team when the season starts end of next year".
I knew he was athletic enough from the limited amount I had seen of him....did not have a clue he would assimilate to our team and style of play so well. Basketball IQ off the charts really, you rarely see him make mistakes.
