Dang, Morey really fleeced the Suns by dumping Aaron Brooks on them AND getting a 1st round pick out of the deal.
doubt he'd even make top 10... I really appreciate all he's doin and hope to keep him, but needs to maintain for much longer duration of time to be considered elite... thats why I think all these projections for a huge payday in the offseason are premature... he'll get paid - but not superstar money.... 4yrs/32-38M...
Ok now whats all that s*** goin on here. The guy is playin great and thats that. what else is there to know. Suport him if you are true Rockets fans, that is what he deserves.
Lowry and Dragic are both top 10 guards. They also have there own unique way of playing the position. Although I prefer Dragic cuz he reminds me of Steve Nash. The first thing I noticed was the way he probes the D and never stops his dribble like Nash. Right now Dragic is playing top five ball. Lowry did it for a stretch earlier this season.
Lowry did it going back to last year, when he took the job from Brooks. He's really done it over a whole season if you include last year. Adelman also compared Lowry to Nash. Lowry and Goran have proven they are legit, near All-Star players. Jeremy Lin is good too IMO, although it's fashionable to bash Lin now. The one guy who wasn't was Aaron Brooks. We dodged a bullet there. Rockets have a couple trade chips in Goran and Kyle. Though I'm not sure it will be possible to sign Goran for cheap and then trade Lowry. Could prove to be too difficult of a maneuver, even for a trade tactician like Morey.
Wrong O, my good man, he was excellent before he got injured, and was excellent in his MIP year. And will be back to being excellent next year as well. No bullet dodged, in all honesty Morey has done an EXCELLENT job of finding very good PGs......now about those bigs.... DD
You might be right, I would be happy with any of them as the starting PG, they have all had major success in the NBA. DD
When you put it that way, it's easy to see he doesn't have the assist numbers of a CP3 or a D-Will, nor the scoring of a Rose or Westbrook (where is Rose on this list btw?). However, his one huge saving grace is efficiency... he's been more efficient than any of these guys... and that's huge. He hasn't been quite Nash-ian with his efficiency, but not too far off! And he doesn't do anything poorly. He's very well rounded.
Come on, DD. You're the one with the worm on your hook, dangling that sucker in the pond and hoping for a nibble. Admit it! No shame in that. You have an example right on this page. Just a sample! ;-)-
No. Neither was Lowry, Neither is Parsons. Too much over-hype here. And then we laugh at other teams forums cause how they sound.
