If you flashed a gun at someone, or killed an intruder, would you be afraid of retaliation? I know I would be.

I'm too liberal, lonely and depressed to own a gun, but this seems like a good argument for keeping several and teaching everyone in the house to use them.

Any dog would be easily neutralized by a gun or even food in many cases. False sense of security.

Damn, man, that sucks. I try not to suspect the worst in people, but this is too much.

    Put up the signs.

I don't know if you believe in guns, but I keep one loaded on the nightstand at all times (only at night) and one on the main level.

    Take care of yourself.

I would assume it would make the burglar think twice about breaking in if he heard what sounded like 2 mean dogs inside the house. Why risk breaking into a house that has dogs trained to attack strangers thus alerting owners or neighbors if the burglars does in fact pull a gun and shoot.

what you should do is, hang some paint cans that you can swing at the front door in case they try to break in. put a bunch of feathers in front of a big fan, and rig the switch on the fan, to a string. when they walk and trip the string, the feathers will be blown into the burglar's face. oh yeah and you gotta find a way to get glue on him first, so he sorta looks like he's dressed as a chicken.

get some micromachines and put them all over the floor, so the burglar's slip on them. find a way to heat up your doorknobs and put tar on your staircase in the basement.

My cousin said somebody rang her doorbell multiple times last night at about 1 in the morning. She never answered, though.
