I will accept lowering your odds from 10 to 1 to 1 to 1 back to my oft stated $10 wager since you are not so cocksure any longer. But, if you are, why don't you bet the tip jar $1,000 or $10,000? That would allow you to crow even more ungracefully .... or eat sold very cold crow.

Thumbs no offense but that's a stupid wager. The chances of C-bud starting the season are almost guaranteed, he was the starter last season and will continue to keep his job until MM or Parsons proves in court and practice that they're leagues ahead of him.

When we got Scola in his rookie year he was already better than Chuck Hayes, but since Hayes was the longer tenured on the team he still started. By the end of the season though, Scola had already taken over his position.

In another thread I accepted the terms that Bud, barring injury, would be the starter at SF all season long. I love a small wager for the fun of it, but I am not a gambler. Instead of accepting a friendly wager, CXbby wants to play the bully. However, I don't respect that type of behavior ... never have, never will. That's why I accepted his 10 to 1 bet, even though I am still offering to let him off the hook and return to the 1 to 1. He is type of poster who lets his alligator mouth overload his hummingbird anus.

Morris may progress and become a solid player, but he is no Carmelo Anthony. I get tired of posters here finding a "new toy" and annointing him as the chosen one, the new star. Give me a Luis Scola, 2Pat, Bud, Chuckwagon, Yao ... players who remain humble despite their abilities.

It appears you are quite a thick one. No one ever offered you 10 to 1 anything. You are not letting anyone "off the hook". Stop deluding yourself. Neither are you some victim of bullying besides in your fantasy world. Quit making me laugh. I never thought $100 was that big a deal or "theatrical". Obviously you are not comfortable with it, which is fine with me. I've offered more times than one for you to name your price, name your bet, name your game. Just be a doll and do that, instead of embarrassing yourself with this nonsense about men's anus and whatnot.

It's always fun to look back and revisit these threads.

Even McHale said he Parsons was great, but that he might not make the cut during training camp.

Maybe we'll have to go on a 21 game winning streak to find out.

I recall wanting to say more and stick up for him. Everyone in our front office was so high on him.

I thought the guy looked a little too slow and lacked NBA quickness in the few videos I saw of him. Shows why I'm not a scout. Either that or I watched all the wrong videos... yeah, that's it. I blame the videos. Damn videos. :)

Yeah he looked all that, but if you looked closer he was doing it with heart. His face looked like a kid in the candy store.

Hate to say it when Im right. So many people penciled him in as a 3 pt shooter/clone of Budinger. The only thing that took my by surprise was that Morris wasnt able to crack the rotation to this point.

    This thread is very entertaining.

There is a reason I've stopped trying to evaluate players before I see their game translate at the NBA level. I was pinning for Lin when he was with the GSW but if they are not in the league I have no idea how good they are.

Some people have penciled him as Battier right now, which is worse.

I'm penciling him as a prime MerGady and I'm throwing away my eraser.

I know this has probably been posted somewhere at some point in time, but I would like to re-direct everyone's attention to this article as well.
