Better be careful. We are starting to look like the Utah Jazz.

I do NOT want to lose Scola or Gogi. Martin....bye bye. Gee, how long can this guy sit on the bench smiling? As Barkley once said "There are people who have heart bypass surgery that recuperate faster than ..." (Drexler then Martin now). Hope I'm wrong but Morris has shown absolutely nothing.Love Bud's constant 3 point threat.Keeping Camby is a no brainer.

I want to get our future C through the draft and would love for Houston to get Meyers Leonard with the Knicks pick which I believe will be their only 1st rd choice. Also I hope that Dalembert option should be picked up for his final year. I think that going into next season our C position should be a combo of Dalembert/Leonard giving Leonard time to learn in his first year behind a vet instead of throwing him into the starting line-up.

I think the Rockets can give Camby some extra benefits to keep his salary lower. Things like no-trade clause and/or trade kickers so he doesn't have to worry about being traded. I think if the Rockets tell him he can remain at home for the rest of his career, we can get a hometown discount. Good for both parties.

As for Dalembert, I think it depends on what's on the market. Originally I was opposed to overspending on someone like Asik, but with Dragic's situation that has changed, as the Rockets cap space becomes a lot less in 2013 to keep Dragic. So I wouldn't mind giving Asik DeAndre Jordan money to split minutes with Camby. It's about as productive use of capspace as one can hope for.

Hibbert is out of the question based on the whole D-League thing and Dwight is highly unlikely so yeah count me in on the Asik bandwagon. I'm guessing it will take a DeAndre Jordan type contract to lure him here wouldn't it?

Not impressed with Asik, I hope we draft a C too and keep at least Camby but it might help to keep both because we need all the help we can get in case of injury or developing the guy. If we don't draft a C we definitely need to keep both.

Yeah, let's trade Lowry and other guys for a half a season of Dwight Howard.

We'll probably end up drafting a C with the Knicks pick (Myers Leonard?), better keep our existing frontcourt and develop that dude instead.

As good as Howard is don't want a rental, must sign a long-term contract here first. I believe Dalembert stays for salary purposes, but if we draft C Meyers Leonard I don't think Camby comes back unless he signs for vet min and we're finished with restructuring the roster. He'll be to help Leonard develop or in case one of our big men get injured!

I don't think Asik will get THAT much. Will get around what Gortat got, around $8 mil a season instead of the $10 mil Jordan is getting. Asik's only started 2 games in his career and doesnt even play 15 minutes a game. Gortat and DeAndre Jordan actually started several games in their career and played well in those starts before they cashed in. Can consider Asik a "Jim Mcilvaine" type risk to work his contract down

Makes you appreciate the $6.8 mil contract average with a team option that Morey worked Dalembert into taking.

But I think making a calculated offer on Asik is the way to go.

Well, Motiejunas could be a backup Center, legit 7' 0" if not 7' 1" and could give Scola a hard time competing for starting PF spot.

Asik is an early bird player, meaning no team will be be able to offer him more than MLE this summer, so the chances of getting him in the off-season are slim to none.

    Camby/Bear
    Scola/Patterson
    Parsons/Morris
    Lee/Bud
    Lowry/Dragic

That's a great line up rightthere.... we have a new system and it's coming along now.

we can trade Martin+Morris and picks to get an all-star.

Are Asik defensive stats misleading being that his minutes come from the team's second team competition? While Noah remains the starter and plays all the crunch time minutes?

Scola will destroy this guy in practice, but will make him better. It also depends on who our starting center is at the time.

That's a very good question. Some statistician may be able to sort through the data and give us something here.

    re-sign Camby

sign Asik at all costs (along with Dragic and Lee)

    bye bye Dally

    hello Donuts/Sergio

    hell no fairweather Howard

trade Lowry/Martin/Morris/ maybe Scola and net something vicious, Im not a GM I just play one on the internet

draft pick(s) and we should be a top 2-3 team easy
