I don't see it being weird. The OP is comfortable being himself by going on this trip alone. Usually my friends who are the most self conscious or insecure always have to have people joining them for any sort of activity even if it is going to the mall or going to the video store. Often it is very liberating to go to another place where no one knows you. You can do and say whatever you want to anybody and no one will judge you or have preconceived notions about what you are doing. More power to the OP. I wish more people were like this.
The craigslist and Backpage ads are almost all either bait and switch or, worse, women who show up, take your money and then refuse to provide any service for the price you'd agreed on. I wish to make it clear that I know this not from personal experience but from information derived from Las Vegas residents. One fellow I know who lives there has two or three regular women he sees. I've forgotten exactly how he met them originally. He may well have been lucky with a Backpage ad. I'll ask him if I can find a sensible time and a delicate way to do so. But if you do arrange for someone to visit you I highly recommend meeting them in a bar in the casino or something similar so you can have time to evaluate what you're getting and ideally make clear the terms of the transaction.
There's plenty of things to do alone that's cool and I actually prefer doing things alone too. I couldn't ever imagine going to Vegas alone... Let alone going to Vegas by myself to look for hookers.
You don't need to hire a hooker. You can hire a hooker in any city in the country. Plus I would think hookers in Vegas to be more expensive and not as good. Do things in Vegas that you cannot do anywhere else. That is: gamble and if you got money to spend, get bottle service at a club. There will be plenty sexy girls in the club that are willing to come to your table. If you play your cards right, you can take one back to your hotel room. It's more exciting.
Congrats on the Lotto $$$! Parumph is about an hour outside of town and they have the legal hookers. And I too agree that the girl in the photo is hot, but come on, do you really believe those online ads to be legit? If you want to pick up a hooker in Vegas, just go to any casino bar and sit and drink and gamble some video poker or video BJ or do that at a busy slot machine. Hookers will come to you. Try this at night at Tropicana, MGM, Rio (off strip), Caesar's, Planet Hollywood, Wynn...pretty much anywhere. Try not to get ripped off and negotiate well. Have fun dude.

Better question is... Has anyone not noticed a hooker in a casino bar (in the evenings)? Cheap gambling? What??? Penny slots? Haven't ever rented a car in Vegas. I have always gone with using taxi's. the tram or buses. I would imagine it's not worth the money or dealing with the parking or traffic on the strip.
I'm going to make this long story really short.... We were in Vegas last weekend for my bachelor party. A beautiful girl (model in LA) came up to me and my friends and started talking with us and exchanged numbers with a buddy of mine. She texted him later and was wanting to hang out (long story here). Well, we convinced him that she was a hooker. His dumbass decided to call her out on that via text. She got offended, told him to fk off, and stopped returning his texts and calls. Whoever told me to pick Imperial palace screwed me .I read reviews on it on yelp and more then a couple people have said they have been robbed of their stuff. One while he was sleeping in the room!!! I can stand the hotel being loud and dirty and what not but I can't have people stealing my stuff. I called expedia and its gonna take about half a grand if I wanted to move to another hotel.
You're probably not going to get robbed at IP. Just don't get a motel room. Tell them it's your first time in Vegas when you check in and ask for an upgrade. Tell the counter person you'd love to tip them $20 if they can help you. Or you can do the allergy route or something. Basically, just avoid the motel style rooms in the back...stay in the main part of the hotel.
I just paid 450 more to move next door to the Harrah's. Most of them had rediclous fees but I thought Harrah's was the most reasonable.

Just got back. I didn't do the things I wanted, but it was good for me to just get away from everything and chill. First I would like to say I'm so glad I didn't stay at the imperial palace. That place was so getto. So glad that I changed it to the hannah's next door. I actually like how small it was. Ceasers and the belaggio was just too big. At the start of my vaca, I was actually winning or pulling even. The only game that I played was roulette. I find it you have better odds playing a certain way then you do with blackjack or craps. And I didn't find any hookers. But it wasn't because of the lack of trying. All I saw was one. But it was so odivous, I thought she might be a cop so I didn't do anything. I tried to look in the casinos but no luck. After that I called some of the girls on backpage but those girls don't likeit when you start asking them questions. . I went to the rhino strip club cause I read online you could get laid there. At least a bj. I went there, got a couple of lap dances from a girl that has a nice rack but needed to fixher nose. She made me chuckle when she tried to look sexy. There was something else that happen at the strip club but I'm too amshamed to talk about it.
