IMO, he should be top 7 at the very least. I think Davis, Drummond, and Robinson are clearly above him, with Beal and MKG debatable. Lamb has all the physical attributes, can create on offensive, great form on jump shot, and has at times been an excellent defender. He has amazing potential defensively. So, why is he #14 in Chad Ford's mock and #13 on Draft Express? This just doesn't make any sense to me.

Maybe they see him as a Nick Young with better defense? I mean Nick Young with above average defense should definitely be a Top 7 pick. I see Lamb potentally getting 20pts/5rebs/1.5 stls, with good% and defense; all-star potential for sure.

I will even say that if he and Beal have good workouts, I'd trade Lowry for either him or Beal, given the emergence of Dragic.

I think its due to UConn's sub-par performance this season. Lamb was expected to be "the guy" for UConn a la Kemba Walker.

Even though he's not the PG, you expect a bit more than 1.7 assists out of a guy that has that big of a role in the offense. Also, he didn't shoot 3's too well compared to last season. It's obvious that he can shoot (60% fg inside the arc!), but he also had a lot of attempts behind the arc (6 per game on 34%). Settles for jumpers a lot, I think like 73% of his shots in half-court were jumpers, but like I said 60% fg. I guess people want him to attack the basket and get to the line more.

Still, I'd be really happy if the Rockets were able to get him. Shoots well, potential to be a good defender, can get his own shot. I think he was still adjusting to being the main weapon.

I agree with trading Lowry for a stud youngster. We need a slight re-tooling of the roster.

Very true. I still think he should be in the Top 7 due to his potential alone. Maybe it's good that he didn't attack the basket too much (so we can draft him), but it's much harder to attack in college than in the NBA. I think his mid range game can reach elite status, which is a great selling point.

As much as I love Lowry, we have to trade him to get the full value of our players. We will never be able to sign a FA the caliber of Dragic outright, so we can't just lose him for nothing. Lowry also has great value on his contract, so teams are definitely willing to trade something good for him. Just think about this.

Dragic/Lamb or Beal/Parsons/Donuts/Camby+Dalembert has crazy potential. This does not even include Scola, Patterson, Lee, Morris, and our draft picks. We have a bright future, but we definitely need to get rid of a few pieces. Over pay if we have to.

I LOVE Lamb's potential and plus he is super athletic, has a 7'4' wingspan and is 6'5' so he has great length and size to be a great defender.

I think there are 5 potential superstar/allstar players in this years draft.

    Anthony Davis
    Thomas Robinson
    Bradley Beal
Andre Drummond(tho he has dissapointed I think he can become what Greg Oden hoped to be)
    Jeremy Lamb

Agreed completely with above post. I just don't see MKG having better potential than these guys. My draft order would be:

    1) Davis
    2) Drummond
    3) Robinson
    4) Beal
    5) Lamb
