Sam Amick said on SR 610 today that he was told "pretty definitively" around the trade deadline that the Rockets weren't looking to bring back Dragic next season. I wonder how much Morey is re-thinking this now with Dragic's incredible play as a starter. It will be interesting to see how things end up, especially if Dragic continues to play big like this in the playoffs.

Isn't Lowry contract like a really expensive back up pg's contract and super tradable

In that case we should just throw big money on Dragic and have Lowry back him up or just trade Lowry

Lowry doesn't deserve that..he's a starter in this league and he worked hard to become one. Only option is to trade him because Dragic deserves is spot too....

Lowry would be a great 6th man though. We could probably get him between 25 and 30 minutes a game off the bench.

Man that makes me mad. Also frustrating to think he was a throw-in in the Pau Gasol trade in the offseason. I hope Morey wakes the f*** up. This could be MUCH worse than Lin. If Dragic leaves solely because Morey won't match an offer for him in free agency, and turns into a superstar, Les would be right to fire Daryl.

I love Lowry just as much as the next Rockets fan, but this is business. The only thing Lowry is good for now, at that price, is a trade. Anybody for Martin and Lowry + pick for Portlands two lottery picks???

Depends how well he plays the rest of the season/in the playoffs and how well the team does in the playoffs.

It's not inconceivable to me that Dragic could be worth the max depending on how things go. He would have to not just maintain this play, but take it up one more notch in the playoffs and carry us to a series win. Even if that happened I doubt anyone would offer him the max, but I'm just saying I would do whatever it takes if he takes his game up another notch.

The rockets and morey have been looking for that game changing star player, they just might have him now. Morey better not **** this up, pay the man.

Sure but let's observe restraint. I still like Lowry a lot too.

Houston should draft his brother Zoran, a 6'5 shooting guard, with a second round pick.
Maybe that will give Goran some incentive to stay.

Completely agree!! Goran would love to play with his brother. Zoran is a very good perimiter defender and a very good rebounder for his position. He cant hit a shot outside the paint though, but that can be improved. Bassically a good defender but a bellow average player. If he develops a jump shot, he will be good for garbage minutes.

Its a performance business. Morey needs to keep him and make the deal he wants. Now while the iron is hot for Goran, Lowry, and Scola in this offseason. One of them has to go and Martin is obviously a good throw in to make it even sweeter.
