There are plenty of twists including the very end.
Same here. Don't remember how I was led to them, but the original articles are great. It's more of a Michael Mann or Scorsese movie, though. It has great elements: American Dream, immigration, the notion of self-improvement (through physical means/steroids/education), legitimacy of the drug war, police indifference to the above. Sucks that Bay will probably screw this up.

The original story was great. I don't know why he needs to go about changing it. Don't remember any explosions in the story.
Where I come from blondes are a dime a dozen so I find them too generic. However, Yolanthe Cabau is in the film... she's really good looking. I might steal her from wesley if I feel like it.
Michael Bay + 1 **** actor(The Rock) and two very overrated actors in my book(Mackie and Marky Mark). Dollar theater movie in my opinion.
