first one was an offensive foul 2nd one, I think the over the back calls are kinda stupid. if the guy can jump higher than the player in front of him, it shouldn't be called. In this case, there was no way gasol would have gotten up that high to get the rebound, so it's a good no call in my book. If the player in the back impedes the player from getting the rebound then I would call it, but in this case it's obvious Griffin would have gotten the rebound regardless who was in front of him.
It's not even the arm DURING the first dunk. It's the push he does on Gasol as he's coming back down. But honestly, it happened to the right person :grin:
If all he did as jump higher than him to get the rebound or dunk, I'd agree, but if there's contact on the way up, there's no chance for the guy in front to outjump him. That should be an over-the-back foul. Regarding these dunks. They're spectacular, but there are a lot of spectacular things that can be done if you're allowed to foul the defender. That being said, I hate Pau Gasol.
