I really do think he has made a conscious decision to not bother learning to play the technical game at all, get his numbers based purely on athleticism and hustle and just go out in a massive flame of knee-ripped glory.

Great for me as an opposing fan. Not so great for me as an NBA fan.

I felt like he kept following through on his push off and consciously sent Pau to the floor...it wasn't an obvious thing, but I believe there was an intent to further humiliate Pau. Its something refs have to determine on their own, was their an intent or not? I would have seen it that way, since Griffin likes to push guys around like that. My reasoning is that could set the lakers off and cause a confrontation, much like Jordan pushing Blake. Last time Jordan almost pushed Griffin into an opponent.

On a side note, it's sickening to me that Blake Griffin does all this and yet can't average a block a game. It's obvious he's hardly trying.

Man, see I don't get it. In the 90's when Pippen, Jordan, Ceballos, Kemp were dunking on people and staring them down between the legs that just made the game more exciting to me. Not because the guy decided to stare down on someone, but because it was exciting to see how the other team responded on the other end, and that just made it a whole new ball game. I understand it was a push off, but if you see it again, it all happened in mid air. Personally if I'm Gasol, there is no way Griffin dunks on me like that whether push off or not, I'm going to knock his ass on the floor. This is the NBA I grew up watching, it's kinda watered down now.

I guess it's hard to knock his ass on the floor in mid air when the guys' elbow is shoving down on your neck. What Gasol could do was knock him down the next time and stare him down.

So you must love how Sloan and co. used all those dirty plays and got away with them?

Poor soft Pau, you can not let one person to do the same thing twice in one game. I would be very mad if he was wearing the rocket jersey, but as we all know, we have Scola, who is bit of tough than Pau, and he can match Griffin tough enough. As for no calls, I am thinking that you could let the fouls go because Pau was inside circle.

The first one is better than the Perkins one even though it's an offensive foul.

Not exactly stellar defense by Bynum on that play. He's jumping around out by the 3 point line, instead of trying to cover Griffin. Saves him from getting dunked on, though.

Even if you're inside the circle, the offensive player can't throw his arms or elbows out when in the air to push the defensive player away.

Chandler Parsons dunks on Blake Griffin, stares him down!

How soon you all forget. Someone will have to embed the video because I just dont know how to.

Oh... and no Chandler did not foul Griffin on the play at all it's all about the stare down.

IMHO. Both of Blake's dunks were fouls... But Hakeem was never called in the playoff's for this foul either. I think I have this one VHS tape in a box somewhere...LOL

It happens around the 1 minute maker of the video.. but enjoy the whole thing.

    Peace out

I think it's also worth noting that Griffin was getting into it with Demarcus Cousins yesterday. That's 2 nights in a row where he's trying to intimidate his counterpart. A guy with no post game has really developed an attitude problem.

Cousins pretty ticked at him for that 5th foul: "I guess the wind from my hand hit him in the eye and I guess he got fouled by the wind," Cousins said. "I'm not sure."
