I thought this was interesting. Some were obvious(fisher, battier, Nash, Chaunce) and some were really surprising(especially Kobe) and a notable emission in Lebron. You would think as everyone on this board and ESPN is convinced that kobe brings his team down and is a bad teammate where lebron is the quintessential teammate the league would see lebron more as a coach, but i guess they respect kobe's dedication to the xs and os and his knowledge on the bench(and not being able to take the last shot himself) would translate into some smart hoops

Steve Nash wouldn't make a good coach because most players don't have eyes at the back of their heads.

The government really does need to regulate those harmful Lebron emissions.

I think bench players make good coaches. I could see the chuckwagon being a coach later down the road

I would like to see Vince coach. His plays would mostly be "OK, you set a pick, everyone else give em room... now you run and dunk it as hard as you can"

I'd say only hill and allen have what it takes to be a coach, which is more than talent and dedication.

I'm not sure why fans give Juwan such a hard time. He's probably one of the more respected vets out there.

    Simple.

Kobe is known as an exceptionally bright guy, not just on the court, but in general.

    LeBron? Not so much.

I think kobe wouldn't be a good coach in managing personalities. He seems like he just won't give a sh* to cater and tend to team chemistry but just go Xs and Os, balls out in practice, and win the damn game and won't understand why any excuses are there because winning is up there with eating abd reathing. Imagine a guy like dwight or lebron who don't want to be criticized to be coached by a no nonsense kobe...that would be reality tv worthy.
    But
The other people in the thread mentioned it. I'd love to see Chuck Hayes there and I think he has the brains to do it, hell maybe even brad miller.
But Grant Hill, Chaunce, Derek Fisher, Battier, Maybe kidd/nash, but those guys are all natural coaches on the floor.

If kobe was a coach and his team was doing bad, he'd probably suit up for the 2nd half during halftime....kinda like why mj would not make a good coach.
