No because you're bill isn't settled. Let say you book a deal for 4 nights for $400, then you arrive. Your card will be per-authorized for like $500 for incidentals/sec deposit. If you're eating more than $500 charged to your room bill, you need to go down and pre authorize another $500. Let's say you go on a heater and win a lot at black jack (or lose a lot). Then you'll get a hostess who will comp your entire stay in the end and you end up with a bill of zippy. Let's say you win some/lose some, but play a fair amount. Then in the end, you might get a players rate and pay $200 instead of $400. Each casino/hotel is different, but the general idea is the same. The exception is if you book a hotel through hotwire or some 3rd party sites or a hotel deal that requires full payment prior to arrival.
Pretty much all strip clubs in Vegas offer free admission with limo rides. I've only been to Rhino and Sapphire. Rhino is more like a traditional strip club while Sapphire is like a dance club...can't really compare because Sapphire is a big warehouse. I'm a Rhino fan personally. Bring lots of $.
It's complicated and different for each place...and if you're asking, you should probably avoid that tactic. It's a bad path to go down. Gamble for fun and don't chase the comps. Also, post stay marketing comps are much much much easier to get. Comping your stay while you're there is more about theoretical loss and how much volume of money you put in per session.
Can someone explain the Penn & Teller joke book trick? How do they guess the exact joke the person chooses in the book?
I probably spent $50 in Vegas on gambling. It was about 6 hours of play on the nickel slots. I did not realize you got free drinks on the floor though.
anyone have an opinion on the hotel cosmopolitan? thinking about booking three nights there in may. (yes in my 32 years i have never been to vegas until march...now im going back in may)
I just got back from my first trip to Vegas this past weekend. Went with 5 other guys for my bachelor party... I'm still recovering.
Its pretty great. Good looking crowd. To me, the disadvantage is its not associated with any other hotel, so your comps are stuck there. Also, at 32, sadly, you may be getting a little long in the tooth for the average crowd there.
being a guest at the hotel does not get you into the club im assuming right, still have to pay something?
haha well i do look very young for my age. and depending on how you look at it i guess im (sadly) going with a hot 21 year old. being single again does have advantages.
