lol the lakers still won the game. how about the many times griffin got blocked while trying to post up gasol. He has no clue what to do when he plays in the low post. I remember one play where he did an unnecessary 360 to get up a hook shot. If he doesn't learn to play in the post he will always be the guy that creates highlights and will not be the one who dominates.
Box score also says Armando Galarraga failed to pitch a perfect game. Intelligence will tell you otherwise. He accomplished the feat and was screwed out of it. A travel is a travel, called or otherwise. If Lebron runs the entire length of the court with the ball, but without dribbling, dunks it and scores, but the refs didn't call it... he still traveled. Any fan would say so. Just as the court of public opinion in this thread has said this was an offensive foul.
The worst part is how Pao falls down after, oh well, at least he redeemed himself later by blocking Griffin. I don't really care either way though, not a Pao or Blake fan.
Good ole Blake griffin, all style no substance with his hand held firmly by the refs. A lethal combination for never improving.
Well I guess Jordan never won game 6 of the 1998 Finals either? <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/vdPQ3QxDZ1s" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> and in 50 years when looking at a list of Perfect games in 2010 Galarraga's name won't be in there. History has been written and it won't include botched calls.
can someone teach blake how to dunk with out pushing down or clearing the defender using his left arm?
I never knew Pau was so hated. I give him credit for standing there trying to challenge the shot. Most guys would puss out and try not to get put on a poster.
what are you trying to say? refs made a mistake that could be easily seen when viewing in slow motion and highlight replays
You still don't understand the difference between a wrong deed and a wrong deed getting caught, or are you just trolling? By your logic, if you murdered someone and didn't get caught, you didn't commit a murder. By your logic, blacks could not dine with the whites were the right thing because the law said so.
This is sports not real life. The rules of humanity and justice to not apply to a sport watched as entertainment. Fighting is wrong but some leagues (NHL) allow it. That would be illegal but it's part of the sport. In the NBA, Star calls/ Non calls are a proven part of the sport.
Jay said, So I posted a video of what could be called a foul legally but wasn't. My point here is the NBA foul system is not concrete and stars get calls or don't get calls against them. It's an NBA fact.
You're wrong. You disproved your own point by recalling and posting the Jordan video. It hasn't been 50 years, but long enough. Fans know what's up.
The only fans that care about that are Utah Jazz fans. Just like the only fans that care about this: are Rockets fans. NBA foul system is convoluted for example the ideas of "Late minute fouls", "Playoff fouls".
You're venturing into topics I'm not arguin or care about. It's not who cares about what. It's just a factual understanding of what happened.
Gasol sucks and deserves whatever he gets but I wish Griffin would just make those dunks and loose the stare downs. That isn't part of being aggressive, that's being a ****ing prick....which I'm starting to think he just is.
