Elbowgate? - Lee & McHale disagree on practice injury

    Lee ailing after injury in practice

    Just minutes after Wednesday’s practice ended, the swelling above Courtney Lee’s right eye was already obvious — the result, he said, of a wayward elbow.

    “Somebody got me,” Lee said. “I don’t know who did it, but I will find out. Hopefully, it doesn’t swell up too much to where I can’t see.”

    Lee said he was knocked out for a moment. No one identified the owner of the elbow that hit him, but coach Kevin McHale said Lee won’t find a culprit.

    “He hit his head on the floor,” McHale said. “No one elbowed him in the eye. Believe me, no one is hitting anyone.”

    throw them bows. getting ready for the playoffs. any divas start throwing their diva fits, they should expect a couple of them.

    All McHale had to say was: "I didn't see anything..." or... "I wasn't looking..."

    I'm with Court on this one. McHale isn't in the middle of the rebounds and bows anymore, so he can't call it as a slip. Last time I checked, your eye doesn't normally swell from hitting your dome on the floor.

    Courtney is tough, too. So, this must have been a harder bow than usual, almost Dikembe style.
