Song: None, one song would probably make you go nuts after a while and you'd burn the audio player. Sounds of nature, birds, water would be enough for me.

Movie: Huge ass p*rn compilation (seriously, so many guys here pick a Hollywood movie, that would get boring as hell after a few times, plus we have to assume you don't have a female on the island).

Book: Some survival guide that includes all eatable fruits, vegetables, herbs with a medical effect, how to build a hut, boat, traps, etc.

Song- tossup between "Also Frightened" by Animal Collective and the final movement of Symphony #9 by Beethoven - probably would go with Beethoven.

    Movie - The Shawshank Redemption

Book - not a big reader of books but I would go with the complete works of John Keats, including all of his poems and letters.

You mean a book that explains how to build a boat without tools, nails and rope? Might as well bring a book on how to make a satellite phone?

Maybe you should consider a book on how to make tools and rope, first.:p

No book compilations, no collections. You guys get the middle volume by default as punishment. Enjoy the Two Towers over and over again, DD. This also nullifies 'p*rn collections'. It has to be a single work.

The DIY books....you have no idea what is going to be on this island. You may be spending the rest of your lives knowing how to build something that you have no tools or materials for, much less how to operate.
