I'm going to play internet nerd and ask how it is you end up with only one song and how are you going to play the movie? To make this more realistic, I'm going to assume I was in a plane crash, had my ipod and a book and a DVD with portable player with me and am the sole survivor. Movie: Anchorman -- I can watch this over and over and wouldn't get tired of it before the DVD player dies. Plus it has just enough Christina Applegate sideboob to...nevermind. Book: The Bible. Not extremely religious but I haven't read much of it and it would keep me occupied I think.

I don't know how people could choose a 3 minute song with lyrics. That would drive me crazy on an island. People who have chosen classical music or lounge music are smart. As for movies, I wouldn't want any movie that is relevant to my life before I got stranded on the island. It would make me miss home too much. The Good the bad the ugly is a great choice. I never seem to get tired of that movie. Although 127 hours is a good movie to help me motivated to keep on living. Books.. it would have to be the bible.
