Being white in the Traditional sense has nothing to do with
Zimmerman's racial profiling of Trayvon. Everytime You move your
goal post. Are white people in the traditional sense racisms somehow
different than A white Hispanic? What you're suggesting is idiotic.
The worn coon is not White Hispanic specific, nor White American
specific. White racism is just what it is white Racism. Extends all
across cultures. Nelson Mandela Experienced white Racism. Just in
another country. Being White doesn't have a traditional Sense. You're speaking as if white is only particular to being an American. Whites came across ships from different countries. There is No such thing as "traditional" white. A person from france can be white as well as a person From Peru. I'm
not "using" Zimmerman as an example of white racism. Zimmerman is
white. If you're half German and half American and your skin is white then most likely you're white. The same as Being half Peruvian and half American with white skin then You're most likely white, just with a Hispanic background. In Florida there are no distinctions between the half German and half Peruvian, other than their nationalities or language One might look different, but as social implications go, they get treated the same. Just like, there is no "traditional" black person. Black people come from many different countries. Had Martin been Jamaican, Afro latino Haitian, or trinidadian. It still would have been a black man getting killed.

Zimmerman is white, and hispanic, he has the same priviliges as a
white American in Florida. Being Hispanic doesn't change the white
Dynamic or make Zimmerman any Different, the same social benefits that
a traditional white person has in Florida, is the same social benefits
that Zimmerman would receive. Zimmerman is white, and he racially
profiled. Now you're moving the goal post to traditional white and
keep making these White Hispanic Distinctions again as If Zimmerman
can't commit white racism. Lol. Nope Never said Hispanics are not a
minority. There are white, black and asian hispanics. Black Hispanics
    are discriminated against as well

I never said Zimmerman wasn't certain he was black. I said he was certain. You're concluding he wasn't. That's the same argument Glenn Beck made. Calling someone a coon, describing them on drugs, and suspicious, certainly makes him he was certain. Plus his suspicious calls were about black men. You so desperately want to believe he wasn't certain, because you're his defender and are blind to racial profiling and by your notion let's just say he wasn't certain. How does that absolve him of racial profiling? Is calling someone a coon an uncertainty or describing them as these assholes?

The Martin family believes their son was racially profiled. They called Al sharpton. Jesse Jackson is supporting their case. Their is an investigation on if this was a hate crime. It's pretty explicit. Whether you want to keep the blinds on or take them off this is about race. Just the fact that we are talking about it makes it so. You can deny it all you want. But your blindness is pathetic. If this wasn't about race we wouldn't be talking about. There definitely wouldn't be marches going on and people holding up bounties if there were no racial elements at play. Take the blinders off please. Something can be Racial and not be racist. The fact that You deny race plays a part is telling. You might deny that Zimmerman is a racist is fine, but you deny anything racial to this case, just means your shades are on are afraid to look at the ugly truth. Obama winning the presidency is a racial incident. But Obama winning the presidency is not a racist incident. An incident can happen where one doesn't think racism is at play and the other does. That does not mean the incident is not racial.

So something has to be premeditated to be racial and legitimate? Did you make this up? And what happened to Till's killers? If this wasn't brought to the media, Zimmerman would not be getting a grand jury trial. Tills killers got off, GZ was not even charged. Racial profiling was at play. All you did is describe the gruesomeness of till's case as if the pattern of killing makes it more legitimate. Martin was killed for being a suspicious black male with a gun and Zimmerman was gonna teach him a lesson in not to trespass in his neighborhood.

So you still are the authoritarian on legitimacy on racism in america right? You still dare to say what's legitimate by what you perceive in this case, masquerading as you are not sure.

Lol you didn't get anything you just made yourself look like you don't know anything about race. Why do you continue to Lump all hispanics into one category? There are black and white hispanics. White Hispanics get the same privileges as white americans In Florida. Afro latinos, same as black american males. White americans and White hispanics are not too much different. They live in the same areas based on class and social status. They both have power and money in Florida. GZ received white privileges by not being charged. If he were to be charged his race would be white. Look up any arrest record in florida. White colored males are white, no matter the ethnicity.

Cherry picking. Why don't you quote the piece that says Smith attempted to elicit a response from Martin? Doesn't fit your world view? Going to simply ignore that the officer was trained to do exactly what he did (secure the scene and protect himself)?

I went back and re-read, and yes it wasn't Smith, but Ayala; however, I stand by my statement Smith was to secure the suspect and the scene. You're still incorrect to assume Smith didn't care about Martin.

Even so, you'd probably feel a lot better if you did.

I cannot believe I have wasted my time, either you don't want to comprehend or are not able.

We have learned that Hispanics are the same as white Americans, that they are not minorities, and in fact, are more privileged than whites in Florida.

We learned that even though the 911 recording has Zimmerman saying "he thinks" Martin is black, that he was actively hunting for blacks.

We learned that if Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson (I actually like Al Sharpton) are racist, then by osmosis, the Martin family is racist.

Look it is simple: You posted articles asserting that Zimmerman was an exampl of a white rapist. There is one HUGE hole, Zimmerman is not white. Any efforts to try and argue that Hispanic is part of the traditional white power structure is absurd.

If you believe Zimmerman was a racist, so be it, but he doesn't fit your model.

Yep fights right in with the republican notion of not being a racist.

Use less words. All trashing is uninvited, everything anyone posts here is unnecessary and all trashing is personal. I mean I wasn't even trashing you, I was just having a little fun, but you didn't need all those other words, you could have just said trashing. Even though I wasn't. More I was just saying you might feel better if you got over yourself. Wouldn't we all? I would.

yeah I don't understand the importance of Zimmerman's perceived race here either. If I made a mistake earlier in march by thinking he was an "angry white guy", then I have accepted my mistake and moved on. it doesn't really matter on my perception of the case or the facts of the case .

even if he said "he thinks" Trayvon is black on the 911 call, it doesn't change much . although we don't know the psychology of a guy who calls 911 on a regular basis. he has probably been called a racist before and could have been trying to sound politically correct or completely non biased in his initial call to 911.

showing one call where he was concerned for a young black boy walking alone, or (allegedly) rallying for the homeless black man who was killed doesn't make him a saint. deep down his concern could have been that the 7 or 8 year old black boy was up to no good and his call to 911 was that of feigned concern.

as stated way earlier before this thread took a turn for the worst, it is of my opinion that Zimmerman was fed up with the black community in his neighborhood and wanted to try and make a difference by doing stuff like block parties and community rallies.

he failed, and he snapped mentally trying to save every black kid in the neighborhood from turning to a life of crime whether they were involved in that lifestyle or not.

When someone else does it - "RIGHTEOUS INDIGNATION!"
Yeahhhh you should probably get over yourself.

I really don't see how anyone can defend Zimmerman. He instigated the whole thing and then killed someone. Trayvon may not be the model citizen but he didn't deserve to die.

No. Not everything I post is simply for furtherance of the debate. Some is, some is not and it matters not which is which because this is just a discussion being held by a bunch of observers.

You, on the other hand, wish to stem the debate by simply proclaiming the racially-motivated guilt of GZ.... thus ending any discussion.

Do you not see the difference?

Love it! You take 2 1/2 lines to address my 3/4 line reply to you and the title would be "USE LESS WORDS." Supreme irony there, oh Caped One.

If you got over yourself, who would you have?
