I think the fact that we already traded Goran once will cripple our chances of resigning him. I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't even listen to us this offseason. Yalls thoughts?
I think the camaraderie with teammates and coaches will be a bigger factor. And if he thinks the team has a chance to win big in the future. In his rockets.com interview, didn't he mention that he appreciated how his teammates took to him as the starting PG? And he also said that doesn't happen all the time in other teams (maybe referring to his struggles at PHX before they traded him).
Dude, Just worry bout this season. He seem happy here. and hes happy comming off the bench to with lowry...everyone wanna play with a good team we are a good team just need to upgrade wish we can draft anthony davis..that be nice haha. but yeah man....and another center..be nice. we have superstar turning into one...just give it time gurantee 1 of our player is going to be finally a all star. just like the old piston team.
My thought is that its unlikely we bring him back. And, I think the Rockets still view Lowry as their best PG, and they'll look for another backup to replace Dragic when he signs with another team.
There was no reason to at the beginning of the season. We had Llull probably coming over next year, and Dragic hadn't shown us anything special, even up until 20 games ago he hadn't shown us anything special. Daryl has made some mistakes, but you can't expect him to have a crystal ball.
