like someone else mentioned, he had a comparable game statswise to Boykins. what's the big deal.

I've been watching him in Sacramento, and he looks better there than he ever looked here. He's playing smart, playing within himself, and still making the plays he's capable of.

Unfortunate it didn't work out here, but I'm glad he's doing well. I think it was a system thing

By the boxscore he seems to have played pretty good and got 32 minutes of PT. Did Thornton get hurt? I see he only played 8 minutes

Morey did say he was one of the best wing rebounders in the league. Twill is in the right situation right now. He won't get disciplined for what he does wrong on the court and there is no system for him to adhere to.

He gets to play more point forward and he isn't looking over his shoulder anymore. He appears to get more relaxed each game. The coach is letting him play through his mistakes and Williams appears to be responding well to that.

You can see his teammates pointing out when he is in the wrong position, so there is some semblance of system to abide by. More than that, I think the coach is changing what the team does to better take advantage of Williams.

Having seen a lot of this team, I will say that his love of passing blends in well with this team of ball hogs.

Yeah, it's no secret why he averaged between 4.5-6 ap36 in NJ and now in Sacramento, while only 2-3 with us. He handled the ball much more in NJ/Sac, and played in much less structured, free-flowing offenses. In Houston, he seemed to always be walking on eggshells, uncomfortable in his role - which led him to either play passively or force the issue.

And that fundamental comfort level has made all the difference. Even little things which he struggled with here (ie: driving in the half-court setting), he's doing very well over there.

What's scary is that Twill actually raises the level of maturity on the Kings.

LOL that's funny and mostly true. He seems to have matured a bit knowing this is not his last opportunity but it's getting close. Sac can afford to give him a shot. It's a win-win situation for them. If he plays bad and they lose they improve their lottery pick. If he plays good and he is a legitimate keeper than they got an extra lottery type player for free.

I actually think the worst thing for him was changing coaches. Even though he was in Adelman's doghouse if he would have come in with the new attitude he had under McHale Adelman would have gave him a fair shot. Or maybe not.

    He's a loser.

    Losers lose on winning teams.

    Winners win on winning teams.

    Losers win on losing teams.

I am happy for T-Will. I watch his games ( and try to catch Jordan Hill ).

I believe tht he has the skill and the talent to make it in this league, just not here in Houston. Unfortunate, he would be a useful player down the stretch.

You're right. It's not thread worthy.
