    The UK KU game reminds me of the mem-ku game a few years ago. Mem had Dorsey, rose, cdr, etc and the some how lost to chamber's ku team.

    Except... Memphis and KU back then weren't THAT far apart in terms of talent and how well each was playing.

    The way Kentucky is playing right now, it's hard to see Kansas beating them. Anything can happen though.

    BOOOOM!!! I think I have 1st if kentucky wins, something like 4th or 5th if kansas wins. Gives me a reason to pull of UK, I guess.

    It does not get any bigger than UK-KU... what a treat.

    UK's starting 5 has to be the most talented in the history of college hoops. Ant Davis, MKG, Teague, and Jones are all sure-fire 1st-rounders, and the kid out of Queens, Doron Lamb, is smooth.

    If Robinson and KU can get Ant/MKG in early foul trouble, and twist the turnover-prone Teague out of sorts, they'll win this game. But, that's a big if. I like UK in a nail-biter.

    That '08 Kansas team was dominant. It was so loaded that Sherron Collins and Cole Aldrich - two elite college players - were coming off the bench. Three NBA players (Chalmers, Arthur, Rush) were in the starting lineup. They finished the year 31-3, won the Big 12 tournament title, were a 1 seed in the NCAA tourney and cruised to the title game. The only team to even give them a run was Stephen Curry's Davidson group. They were generally seen as one of the two best teams in the country for the entire 2007-08 season.

    This year's Kansas group... not so much. They have two very good players in Taylor and Robinson and a collection of spare parts. They don't shoot particularly well and aren't that deep. Two double-digit seeds (Purdue, NC State) had them on the ropes. The only thing they have in common with the '08 squad is the name on the front of the jerseys.

    That said, I'm not surprised they made it this far. Bill Self is the best coach in the country at in-game strategy, and they had a favorable draw. I picked them to the championship game in my bracket for that reason (losing to UK). Anything can happen in a one-game scenario, so they definitely have a shot tomorrow. But it's nothing like '08 Kansas-Memphis, which was a virtual coin flip. Kentucky is the clearly superior team here and it would be a monumental upset if Kansas wins.

    Is UKs starting 5 more talented than the fab 5?

    Got 9th. Tied for most correct picks with 44 though.

    In the Clutchfans Second Chance Tourney, I absolutely dominated though. 13/15 with 116 points. Next closest had 88.

    3rd out of 61, 97% percentile. Not bad for someone who didn't watch a lick of College Basketball and finished my bracket in MAYBE five minutes. Plus Mizz choking. Hell, I didn't even watch the championship game, I was watching the Rockets and then Dallas.
