Well, he would have reason to fear for his life. In a place with that many black people, there are bound to be a gang members, drug dealers, cokeheads, rapists, robbers, and murderers.
Same here. I rarely go to a Red Lobster, but have some relatives out of town that like it, so when I'm visiting them, sometimes we go. The food is the same as it ever was. The crowd? Just a jumble of regular folks looking for decent cheap sea food. I've never noticed a particular "racial makeup" that stood out. I think the OP's "friends" are most likely simply racist. Bummer!
i think red lobster is pretty decent. i think pappadeaux's is overrated, it used to be really good, and pappa's is still pretty good. in houston, i'd recommend boudreaux's at this point for cajun food. what is really expensive seadfood. lobster is lobster, gulf shrimp is better than farm raised, but i live on the gulf so i must be spoiled.
Yes, you're spoiled, but correct. Gulf shrimp > black tiger shrimp > farm raised shrimp > funky ass "who knows wtf they came from" shrimp
Bubbas in San Leon used to do all you can eat shrimp and all you can drink beer. I think they ended that though. It was amazing.
So one of my gf's friends asked her a while back why do black people like Grand Lux so much. Neither of us had ever been so we went last night and all I could pay attention to while we were there was how many black people there were. It had me wondering, so I typed "black people grand lux" in Google and this thread was one of the top results.

I went to see Star Trek last Friday and I was surrounded by black people. I never knew that Star Trek was so popular with black people. Now I know, and I think it's cool. I guess it makes sense when you think about it. Star Trek has always had a multi-ethnic cast, so I guess everyone digs Star Trek.
