He is a spoiled little B***** about what you would expect from someone raised by Cersie. They don't recall if they mentioned it in season 1 but the one time Robert tried to disiplen Joffery, Cersie through such a fit that he never disciplined him again.
Blood of my blood is more of a title for her personal body guards (simplistic explanation). At this point Jhora Moarmont is the only non-Dothraki that is her personal body guard. He is her most trusted friend as well at this point.
How do you do that with all the sex scenes in the book that are so graphic? Its an integral part of the story.
Oh, so he isn't a punk biach in the books? I bought the books to read....but the first one started off so s lllll o wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.......... So there they sit.
the actor playing joffery is doing a splendid job.. joffery is such a little prick you just want to slap the hell outta him
Dont read the first one read cok and sos they are deff worth t i didnt read the irst one because he show is just so true to the books
Originally I wasn't that impressed with the first book. I thought it was ok, but didn't understand the hype it was getting. A couple of years later I decided to give the second book a chance it have been hooked since. Regarding Jon, I don't think they've changed his character that much, but I also don't think they've played up his strengths much. And I don't really like the actor they chose for him.
I've got a feeling that later their going to combine his character with another character from the books that does have a romantic relationship with her.
I'm not getting the hating on the actor playing Jon Snow. The character in the books was a quiet and conflicted bad ass. That's the way he is being played in the show.
James Hibberd's recaps are pretty funny http://tvrecaps.ew.com/recap/game-of-thrones-north-remembers/
Kit Harrington has a pudgy face with puppy dog eyes combined with a look of 24/7 constipation. Jon Snow in the books is determined, cold, with an air of understated nobility about him.
Because Jon Snow, for whatever reason, is written as a slightly irritating character through the whole series.
He is a brooder for sure. I don't know if he is who he thinks he is though. I have read nothing in the series that suggests this but there are certain things that might point towards this. All specualtion of course and nothing that has not been discused in the series. I would love to have heard the conversation Ned Stark promised him as he was leaving for the wall that will never happen now.
One minor nitpick concerning the stannis storyline. The sword he pulls from the fire is just an ordinary sword. It should be constantly radiating light because it's his magical doohickey in the Azor Ahai prophecy.
Actually, it pretty much looks like an ordinary burning sword at first, and it's only in later scenes that it starts to look like it might be the real deal. Stannis' glove starts to burn, and he beats the flames out against his leg. Then his men roll up "the burnt and blackened sword," and Davos observes that "The Red Sword of Heroes looks a proper mess."
If I recall rightly--in the books when he first pulls it out it is already radiating unearthly magical light.
