I'm guessing the enhanced video wasn't cheap. They could've just left it to the Daily Caller to do it, plus they are under no obligation to do it. They could've just issued a retraction and buried the story. Instead they put the video front and center on a broadcast. I understand it is easy to blame the media and that the media likes to sensationalize thing at the same time information isn't coming out in a steady stream and various media outlets are reporting on things as they come out. I am not surprised if some of this is contradictory. I would be far more suspicious if little or no information was coming out. Bottom line though is people should be discriminating news consumers than just blaming the media.
Technically a blog is under no obligation to issue a retraction, I mean have all the blogs that posted the wrong picture of Martin issued a correction / retraction? I agree NBC editing the video I find worrying but NBC isn't the end all and be all of the media.
hmmm, Big Sis, DHS, say bad guys wear hoodies: <iframe width="853" height="480" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/6jAV1dbGPB4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
The screams could have been from someone getting his head bashed in to the ground. http://news.yahoo.com/george-zimmerman-video-shows-injury-back-head-161816389--abc-news-topstories.html
It seems like all the ghosts of wingnut x-mas past are reappearing to celebrate this glorious event. Gwayneco, Granville, Tallanvor. It's truly remarkable. A mojo man sighting can't be far behind.
unless you are saying trayvons head was being bashed in to the ground, you are absolutely WRONG based on the same link you posted
And you took the time away from a Poppa Smurf look-a-like contest to let us know you were conducting roll call of people who had punked you in the past. I don't think anyone said this is glorious event, little fella. It's actually even sadder than you at your age having to buy husky sized clothing in the boys department at Walmart. Lots of people have said Zimmerman wasn't injured but that video does prove that he was at least telling the truth about being injured. In the end, if they gather enough evidence to arrest and fairly convict Zimmerman, I will be 100% behind that. Stick to the subject at hand and I will do the same in the future.
then it's someone else. zimmerman's voice<>voice yelling for help Owen, the chair emeritus at the American Board of Record Evidence:
LOL. No argument with the "you can say scientifically that this was not Zimmermans voice" I have to sit back and wonder what the "usual suspects" are really doing in this thread. Is that they really are so blinded by racism that it pains them to admit fault? Or is it the Hannity effect. Take the non minority view and feign as much anger as you can just to prove how "right" you are. This shouldn't be about republican or democrat, white or black. It should be about right or wrong. Which is why I get so confused by the Wing nuts. Its like its beyond them to admit they climed on the shinking ship no matter what as long as their ship doesn't have any black, gay, abortion, gun removers on it. I can't sit here and say shame on Republicans. I can only say shame on you few human beings, who in one fell swoop want to demonize a dead CHILD. Guilty of nothing more than a walk home from the store. Yet cry foul over anything truth telling about Zimmerman as a demonization. We still have yet to have even one remotely decent answer as to why Zimmerman felt inclined to call 911 on Matin, other than to note he was black. Would Zimmerman of called 911 over a 60 year old white man? Of course not. So you KNOW it was about Martins color. END of story. Yeah Zimmerman wasn't a racist. His 66 calls to 911 of which the majority had descriptions of black everywhere, but for some reason you dont see one log of him describing anyone as Hispanic, or white. He called 911 on a suspicious 7 year old black child for crying out loud.
wow "ok so now you're tossing in extraneous information to assassinate Zimmerman's character? Zimmerman is not a member of the police force." indeed, he is not. and a law which allows him to kill someone and be held to less account than an officer of the law would be is just insane. all issues of race and politics aside - a neighborhood watch is not (supposed to be) an armed militia. zimmerman was instructed not to pursue, he chose to. if he felt he needed to do that, he should have stayed in his vehicle and followed at a distance until the police arrived. simply put, he is in the wrong and should be under intense investigation. any of us here would want the same if our unarmed child had been killed.
