My S.O. and I were in New York City a couple of years ago and went out to a Greek eatery in the Upper West Side. It was a place we'd found on the internet that was supposed to be good (it was, wish I could remember the name). We get there, and low and behold, there's my aunt and uncle eating at a table on the sidewalk. I hadn't seen them in a few years, and had no idea they were in New York. What are the odds?

There were a bunch of coincidences with my wife when we first got together. The only one I can remember now is a movie that had scenes that were supposedly happening at her undergrad university were actually filmed at my undergrad university and they are about a 20 hour drive from each other so not like it was a regional thing. Not earth shattering, but funny.

    I wouldn't know about Grey's Anatomy
Never seen it, though being older the story always seemed kind of Reader's Digest to me.

Strange but true. VoodooPope knows him as well.

I was in Israel at the end of 2010. I was walking through some alley of Jerusalem with a friend of mine and lo and behold I heard someone screaming my name.

A guy I went to middle school with apparently recognized me. Apparently he moved to Israel to study at a Yeshiva. I hadn't seen the guy in at least 5 years.

Weird how you travel half way across the earth and sure enough you meet someone you know.

My dad, brother and I go there every summer. Stay at my grandma's which is in the small town of Kloten near McVille. My great uncle owns some trucking company in Fargo. Currently in the process of selling I believe. BTW, I wish they had a Space Aliens restaurant here.

Minny, hmmm...not that I can think of right now. I have a big family in North Dakota so it's hard to know everyone. Throw the name out there and I can see.

I was in Rome walking down a street with my family as a young kid. I was not looking where I was walking and walked right into my fathers coworker (my dad had no idea his coworker was in Rome). That was quite a coincidence.

i went up to San Francisco with some friends two years ago and we were having breakfast at IHOP when I see my old college roommate and other friend enter in the same IHOP. While we talk on a somewhat regular basis and play hoops still about once a month neither of us knew we were both going to be up in Nor Cali and the odds of meeting up at the same IHOP in SF around the same time and day was just weird.
