So i was driving on 59 last night on my way back to school when my cars radiator leak finally busts a hole. Steam starts fuming out of the engine and into the car from the AC, i had to immediately exit on Gessner and Beechnut and into the Valero gas station right off of it. Keep in mind it is 11 at night. So i get out of the car and pop my hood to see whats going on and out of nowhere a bunch of homeless black dudes start popping up. They were cracked up or something because they kept talking to themselves and scratching their necks or some ****. I Bull**** you not, these guys start popping out of the bushes and trees and walking towards my car, anyways, they start asking about the car, where im going, if i have friends with me, sketchy ass ****. Luckily there was a cop around the corner who saw the steam out of the engine and came by to help... the hobos ran like a flock of sheep. Sharpstown is a really really ****ty place to be at night, dont find yourself out there at night!
Lot of scared folk out there. I stop by that gas station almost every friday night to grab beer and chips. There's a good Refresqueria about a half block from there.

I know the group your talking about. I work loss prevention on that side of town and caught a couple of those dudes stealing. My guess is you could have taken them, not saying they are harmless but they can be scared real easily. Believe it or not that one spot is actually where they hang out ( in the bushes by the car wash). I hate that station cause they allow them to do so...
Next time calmly open your trunk, pull out your gas can..... walk over to the gas pump, buy 40 cents worth of gas..... then walk over to the "scary homeless" and pour the gasoline in a circle around them..... then light a cigarette and set them aflame..... The other option would be to walk inside the service station if they bother you......

I agree, they probably hang out behind bushes just waiting on someone who needs a helping hand. I mean why else would you be hanging around in the dark behind bushes so close to midnight? OBVIOUSLY, to help out their fellow man.
