Uh, he's a Lannister? Danerys soooo hot. Want to touch. She called that dude "blood of my blood" was he Khal Drogo's brother or something?
blood of my blood is what they call their closest people, they are supposed to be down for each other until the death
i feel ya, i was a lost pup when i watched season 1, i think i have watched season 1 as many times as i have seen star wars
The kid who plays Joffrey is just never going to get the credit he deserves since he's playing probably the most hateable character in television history, but damn...that seen between Joffrey and Cersei was incredible. Lena Heady deserves some credit too.
Speaking of Lena Headey, looks like she got some botox to remove the permanent scowl. She looks younger now.
At least Jack Gleeson (Joffrey) is apparently much more recognizable than Emilia Clarke (Dany) on the streets. I agree that his performance is very strong. On the other hand, I find Kit Harrington's portrayal of Jon Snow to be slightly irritating though I'm not sure I can articulate the reason.
I skip all the Nights Watch scenes because of Harrington. He portrays Snow as a weak p***y instead of the badass he should be.
agreed. also the dialogue for him is very 'p***y', such as the scene with him and sam scrubbing the table talking about being virgins. whata bunch of p*****s.
In contrast it doesn't help that Robb's actor is pulling off the Warrior King role like a hoss, winning battles left and right, talking **** to the Kingslayer, coolly maneuvering his mom to be his diplomat. In general, being a MAN.
HBO needs to cut out the sex scenes altogether. GOT is strong enough not to need them. There's not enough minutes to waste on filler sex, even if it is only seconds.
They're both cliche characters but I think both are fun. Peter Dinklage's awful english accent seems to have become more pronounced. You'd think he'd improve by working alongside Brit actors.
Tyrion is intellegent and one of my 4 favorite charecters but it's clear what drives Tyrion. The fact that he is not going to get those things that he would have gotten if he were normal hieght. But Tyrion is not bitter at life nor does he suffer from paranoia or a lack of confidence. Cersie is not only super paranoid about everything but she is bitter that she was not bourne a man, that women do not get equal rights, that she had to be essential forced into a marriage she did not want and she is driven by paranoia, ego, insecurity and an all around bitterness at just about everyone including both of her brothers and her father. Plus the secrets that she hides are much worse than anything Tyrion is trying to hide.
