If you are on neighborhood watch anything you see as suspicious is reason to call. Nothing wrong at all in the call itself. And Zimmerman says "he is just waling around looking about". This suggest that Treyvon was not walking from point a to point b but more or less meandering about. Treyvon was talking to his girlfriend so he was probably just kind of hanging around outside walking around to no perticular place while he talked to her. Nothing wrong with that at all. But there was also nothing wrong with Zimmerman seeing that as suspicious perticularly if he did not no who Treyvon was. Where it went wrong IMO is when Zimmerman started chasing Treyvon.

A spokesman for the lawyers working for the Martin family said that if Zimmerman really had his head repeatedly smashed into the sidewalk during a life and death struggle with Martin, there's "not a chance" the ambulance would have been cancelled.
I really hope no matter what the verdict, or lack of, is that people don't decide to take justice into their own hands. Its terrible that Martin has been killed and possibly because Zimmerman decided to take justice into his hands. Let's not compound this by going after Zimmerman if we think the law isn't doing the job. Just to add even if Zimmerman is found not guilty or not even charged there are still likely to be civil cases that will be filed against him and the Sanford PD.
Right....nothing wrong with Zimmerman calling the police because he found Zimmerman suspicious. I know it's racially profiling, but it's life too! They reported black males robbing the neighborhood and Trayvon fit a description because he was black and didn't live there. Zimmerman knew in his heart that Trayvon was up to no good and convinced himself that not another stealing thug was going to get away. He pursued him...as soon as he got off the phone with the dispatcher it seem the altercation happened. he hung up at 7:15...Trayvon’s girlfriend heard what happened at 7:15 and that phone call died at 7:16pm. This happened fast....Trayvon was mistaken for a crook and was treated like he was one. Zimmerman made up his mind that this thief wasn't getting away that night. It's very tragic
The threshold is whether Zimmerman legitimately thought his life was in danger and was justified in using deadly force. Its seems dubious to me that he thought the kid was actually going to kill him but that's based on nothing but my own instincts since the facts are not clear. I do think it's clear that Martin was the aggressor but it's questionable how hurt Zimmerman was. The funeral director, like the voice analysis "expert" and the guy who retouched NBC video and all the other bull**** artists trotted out by the media probably can't be taken at face value but according to him, Martin had zero wounds on his body (other than fatal bulletwound). This indicates that Zimmerman had not been the one beating Martin and Martin was not the one on bottom crying for help (although no scuffs on his hands seems to at least support the fact that Martin hadn't badly beaten Zimmerman either... although unlike Martin Zimmerman did seem to have suffered at least some injuries in the fight). This seems to contradict Zimmerman's insistence that his life was in danger but does not discount Zimmerman's account that he had been attacked since you don't necessarily scuff your hands from 1 punch on cartilage to break a guy's nose then bashing him into the ground. No one has all the facts and you can't even trust the media since they contradict each other and every day they flip flop. The killing is a tragedy but the secondary lesson is that the media is ****ing stupid. No wonder America fails. From being trolled into publishing pictures that aren't even Martin to insisting on using a 5 year old picture of him to portray him as a kid to inventing a new term "white latino" for Zimmerman, to how his Jewish ethnicity seems to have circled the wagons from conservative elements in the media everyone has an agenda. Imagine how badly they **** up coverage of Wall Street, Iran and everything else if they can't even get it right covering a relatively simple documented murder case. A kid has been killed. A dude's life hangs in the balance. Maybe they should be a tiny bit circumspect and at least vet the fact before we rile up an entire section of American society? Nah, lets just do what we do and troll America. It was plausible until you got to the part where he shoots Trayvon because he's trying to get away. First of all there was definitely an altercation. There's absolutely no question that Martin and Zimmerman fought. Every witness saw a fight. The only thing disputed even by Martin's family is who was on top. So you missed an entire section there in your fanfiction before Zimmerman kills the kid. Second it's about as r****ded as the guy claiming Zimmerman went "coon hunting" that he'd shoot someone for simple for trying to get away. Plus it's indisputable that Martin was shot in the chest at close range. Martin wasn't running from Zimmerman to avoid confrontation he definitely had a confrontation. Even if Martin had begun to flee because he heard a neighbor had called 911 on him, he'd have to have been in the middle of a fight... say he let go of Zimmerman and Zimmerman used that opportunity to murder him. Zimmerman is an *******, possibly a murderer but I wish Trayvon's parents had just socialized him properly and taught him to walk away. Not because being hassled by some ******* is okay but because now the kid is dead from a completely senseless and preventable action. Keeping it real gone wrong.

The american media is GREAT. At least we get information from different angles both left and right. You can analyze the data however you feel. If they really did edit the video they should be held accountable..... just like when Time Magazine had OJ on the cover and edited the shadowing of the photograph to make him look darker. The media is unregulated (thank God), but as a consequence it is free to do whatever it wants.
If they had an agenda though why would ABC request to enhance the video and show it? I just watched the enhanced video and it does show what appear to be two scars / gashes on the back of his head. That is what it appears the officer is examining in the earlier video. From what I can see of the enhanced video there doesn't appear to be more blood on Zimmerman's clothes and body than what can be seen in the earlier video.
Because the damage is done. Blogs and news sites have already posted that Zimmerman wasn't injured for a week. How many will post this correction? NBC earlier played a tape with Zimmerman saying: Zimmerman: This guy looks like he’s up to no good. He looks black. They had edited it (as pointed out by Fox News). What really was said: Zimmerman: This guy looks like he’s up to no good. Or he’s on drugs or something. It’s raining and he’s just walking around, looking about. Dispatcher: OK, and this guy — is he black, white or Hispanic? Zimmerman: He looks black.
By the way, whatever happened to that supposed second shot? Just another lie from the Martinistas I suppose.
