Most efficient cap friendly team you can come up with

    watching granger play tonight and seeing guys like rudy gay get max contracts, and eh signed for under max and I started looking around at the best contracts for really good players, ruling out max level stars like lebron and then rookie contracts

    A line up of
    Lowry(props morey)(5.75)
    Tony Allen(3mil)
    Granger(12)
    Josh Smith(12)
    Gortat(7)

    would be a really impressive(probably one of the best defensive lineups) and cap friendly

    Other guys that come to mind are Rondo(10 million this year, should be a max level player)

    What are other guys out there?

    Th NBA is kinda stuck in a bad system.


    You can put a team full of good players, they'll lose to a team with one or 2 great players, so it doesn't matter. Have to get lucky.

    Granger played above himself tonight...he's nowhere near that efficient regularely

    I agree, but granger is dangerous and skilled every night. He is trouble to guard because he can attack in so many ways and he is still defensively dangerous too. He is such a versatile player that a team like above with him would be scary

    as far as wade, lebron, they are ptty much max and jeremy lin is essentially on his rookie contract so, yea it would be easier other wise to include that

    You would have to do it perfectly but it can be done IMO

    They had a player that had max contract talent in Rasheed. He was the 3rd best PF in the league behind Duncan and KG, and from a talent perspective he was pretty darn close to those two. He just happen to be a head case that stopped being so crazy for the pistons.
