What we are doing is putting his numbers in perspective. The guy is doing stuff that hasn't been seen in the league since the 40s and 50s. You can explain it how you want to explain it. It's just a fact.
His true shooting percentage is 8th best among PFs, and 2nd among starting PFs. 1st in PER. The fact that the Wolves are decent is a testament to how good Love is.

On offense Love is an absolute beast. But on defense? Tim Duncan anchors perennial top-5 defense. Dwight Howard anchors perennial top-5 defenses. David Robinson anchors perennial top-5 to 10 defenses. Kevin Love anchors perennial below average defenses. Forget the guys listed in in the first post, I'll take prime Yao and his 20/9 over Kevin Love any day.
Love is nowhere near prime time Duncan. HE cant defend for his life. He is just a better rebounder and a good shooter. But tim could dominate both sides of the floor and he comanded double team on the post all the time.

Love has quick feet, and he has become smart about the way he moves around the floor.
