If he really means this, I definitely want Dragic over Lowry at this point. http://www.nba.com/rockets/video/2012/03/29/ZOOM0002MOV-2050316/index.html?ls=iref:nbahpt2
Goran: When me and little brother Zoran growing up in Easterm Europe, we dreamed of one day being treated like assets. I hope to stay in Houston. Daryl and coach nice to me. 3 meals a day and very little beating after games. Teammates also very nice. No raping, except for rookies. Maybe if I work hard Daryl will save Zoran, too.
No April Fools im pretty sure he wants to stay a rockets this is where his carreer actually got notice.......mostly players love to stay where there spotlight shined. but yea. Just like Lowry...and Gragic seem that kind of player willin to stay..but some point you know money wise to...he earns it.
I voted Dragic, but that is taking into consideration the trade value that lowry will give us. I think between the two, it is a coin toss on who is better. Saying that, Lowry has a higher trade value at the moment. If we can resign dragic and use lowry, martin, and scola for a headline trade, I will be on that train. We are already doing just find without lowry and martin.
Everything east of Germany & Austria is considered Eastern Europe by many people. I think technically Slovenia is considered either part of Southeastern Europe or Central Europe. I for one, think of Slovenia as an Eastern European country. And I live there (somewhere in Europe ).
This has nothing to do about who is better than who. It's just business. Lowry should be moved for the highest pick possible in this years draft.
This. Or a big upgrade at the 2-5. Either is fine. I do wonder... Lowry + Scola + Martin + all our picks + Motiejunas + Llull + Morris. How high does that get us in the draft? That is a big pile of loot for the claimant.
Former Yugoslavia which included Slovenia was a Socialist block but INDEPENDENT and DID NOT BELONG TO THE SOVIET STATES.
I dont think Dragic is better than Lowry but Lowry has the trade value around the league to get us some pieces in the draft or maybe a superstar So yea i would keep Dragic... but only because of the circumstance
Main fact remains that free agency starts right after NBA draft If Lowry or anyone isn't traded at Drafts day..... Morey and his staff will likely be preoccupied with watching what happens to Dragic first and then looking for trades.....
Should we just bend over and take it? No one would give up that much for anything.....that is potentially 9 players....not counting any 2nd round draft picks if we have one.
