Do you think OKC should use this lineup....?

It makes more sense than moving Westbrook to SG for Fisher when the playoffs are about to start.

The only problem i have with Westbrook is when he brings the ball down and crosses his man up and takes a jumper - without looking to even pass the ball.

It's good if it goes in... It's horrible if it doesn't.

When you have a player like Durant on your team - you should at least be looking for him to get a touch before throwing up a jumper.

He did it a couple of times in the Lakers game and it was horrendous to watch.

If they went with that lineup you do know that Westbrook would still basically be the PG? There is no way in hell Fisher would be the primary ball handler.

There is a reason Kobe said " I can be a legitimate Shooting Guard" when they got Ramon Sessions.

Stupid statement. Any player can take too many shots.

Westbrook is shooting 47% this season how is he shooting too much?

It's not like OKC is full of offensive firepower. They have 3 scorers and that is about it. 4 when Ibaka gets it going.

I never said he was shooting too much lol I'm just saying it is possible and for a while he WAS taking too many shots. He's much improved now and a better teammate but he has taken too many shots before which is why people said he took too many shots. And saying a player takes too many shots doesn't mean "you don't know anything about basketball". That's an arrogant statement

It's not about too many shots. It's about how he takes shots sometimes. He'll put up bad shots during periods of the game. He especially did in the playoffs last season and continues to somewhat do it this season. He just needs to get rid of doing that.

I think last years playoffs for Westbrook gave him a bad reputation that people still have not been able to let go. It's carried into this season even though Westbrook is playing great and the team is playing great.

I saw some stat from a Thunder reporting tweeting that Westbrook was shooting 47% in the clutch while Durant was shooting 41% in the clutch. Go figure.

Touche, but I do think that Westbrook is asked to take a lot of the shots that he takes.

I know Durant is the star on the team but he takes some bad shots just like Westbrook but he seems to get a pass.

I agree. I was mainly pointing out the ignorant statement of "if you say ____ you don't know anything about basketball". I have a friend who says **** like that and it's annoying.

WB has taken his game to another whole level this year. People are still he's the same player from the playoffs (his FIRST appearance mind you).

It's like I would assume DRose would stink it up again in the playoffs this year b/c of what happened last year. That's just dumb.

2nd appearance. His first appearance he was the reason why OKC played LA tough that year. Granted Fisher was guarding him though. I agree with everything else you said though.

You know why it doesn't make sense OP

Fisher can't guard any point guard in the league

Westbrook probably can't consistently guard SG

Your backcourt defense would implode before anything happens.

The reason Selfalosha starts is because he is superb on defense and it balances out Durant and Westbrook.

Fisher is useless at any position offense or defense, he should not be seeing the floor for more than 10 minutes

I mean, his first as a "star" b/c he made all-nba 2nd team last year.

Furthermore, people don't understand that it's also his job to SCORE.

Not much WB did in the 2nd half against the Lakers was horrendous. When there is an easy matchup like Ramon Sessions and Steve Blake, he may as well feast. Last Tuesday against the Blazers, he hit (what seemed like) 10 straight 10-15 footers in the 4th quarter because they were so easy to get. It blew the game open.

If WB was shooting 42.5% like Kobe, I would agree there was a big problem. But at 47.5%, he's doing just fine. No NBA scorer will ever "get rid of" taking bad shots. That is crazy. Just like any other player, he can improve his shot selection some.
