Dwayne Wade’s Nephew Shot by Men Wearing Hoods http://espn.go.com/nba/truehoop/mia...at-dwyane-wade-hospitalized-shootings-chicago If this starts getting a lot of media attention watch the schools overreact. At many public schools in the DFW area there are certain colors you can’t wear. My son could not wear his number 13 Steve Nash Dallas Mavericks jersey because the number 13 is associated with gangs. Actually I was pretty happy with that one, if only they could have forced him to wear Rockets gear and cheer for the Rockets. Couple this event with the Treyvon shooting and Geraldo Rivera’s story on hoodies it would not shock me if some of the schools begin to outlaw hoodies. Just in case anyone is curious I would not support a ban on hoodies.
I clarified, once again Who today, when speaking to you, whether myself or another person, brought up race before you did? It's cool, I know you don't want to answer, I see your facade of calm collected moderator falling apart. Just like when the guy pointed out that crap about your camera, you said you never said she stole it, I pointed out that you did in fact call her a thief, do you admit that you were wrong? Nope, you rattle on about something else, conveniently ignoring the fact that you got called out on your bs. Be a man and admit you were wrong. In both instances.
Hey man thinks for your support but we all have our crosses to bear. My obvious greatest failure as a father. What really sucks is that we have gone to multiple Mavs / Rockets here in Dallas games over the years including Dreams last year with the team and the stinking sorry ass Mavs have won every damn time.
Question for people wanting Zimmerman in prison for life or executed etc. When (if) he is either not indicted by the grand jury, or found not guilty, you obviously won't believe the reasons people have been telling you in this thread so who will you blame?
I referred to thievery. I think my lawyer called it "conscription" or something like that. When you do not take initiative to return property that you know does not belong to you and you know who/where it should be returned. She took a month or so and had to have her ass forced into gear. That was a 25-page discussion as I recall. Go ahead and get your panties in a wad about 1 comment taken out of context. If you read back through the thread, you'll see where I said several times that she didn't steal it for her own purpose of keeping it. She says she had good motives for taking it (she thought it belonged to a friend) but when those motives turned out to be erroneous she should have gotten her fat ass in gear and make a huge effort to get the camera back to the Scouts who could get it back to us the rightful owner. She ignored those pleadings for a few weeks after waiting a full week to call the Scouts and say "OOOPS." Did she think about keeping the camera during that week? I don't know. Maybe. Regarding Trayvon, you are the one whose comment invoked "other" people and to my mind that would include Red Redemption who made the audacious claim. GAME OVER.
Already posted. I posted an article talking about one of the witnesses in the post you quoted. It's obvious that you're only putting stock in witnesses that back up the claim you want to believe.
I'm glad you lowered the bar from a "zealous effort to return" something to "taking the initiative to return" something. I was very curious how one returns something zealously. And in either case, you're wrong. She took the initiative to return it by contacting the girl scouts which was my point all along. However, she didn't do it with zeal. So you're only wrong in the second case. But in both cases, you look stupid.
even if they find there isn't sufficient proof that zimmerman attacked? MEaning even if they didn't have a no retreat law, and he would have had the same outcome before 2005, you still want the law gone? because I see the least likely senario being he gets off specifically because of the no retreat laws.
theft (thft) n. 1. The act or an instance of stealing; larceny. 2. Obsolete Something stolen. In case you can't tell, that's number one on the list. And this is to the person who went on a tear about definitions earlier right? If you're gonna play a semantics game, don't half ass it amigo. You invoked the board as a group and have yet to be able to point out anybody recently performing the action YOU accused others of, IE bringing race into the matter recently. Game over? Really? Because it looks like you've been called on your bs yet again. That's the great thing about these here internets, in just a few clicks I can show what a hypocrite you are. Can't wait to see how you dance around this one.
Yes. The GF said that right before the call ended, she heard the sounds of an altercation. Yes, it is stupid. Even Zimmerman claims that he was being punched. It sounds like the bulk of the fights you've seen have taken place at a preschool playground during recess. If you can withstand having your head smashed into the ground for 15 seconds and then make conscious, calculated decisions, you need to give up whatever job you have and become a boxer. When you take exception to his conclusions, that means you don't find him credible.... You think a funeral director can't recognize bruising? The stupidity in your posts is actually comical. Martin's GF is a witness b/c she was on the phone with Martin right before the altercation. How is Zimmerman's father a witness? It sounds like you're the only one putting stock in anything he says.
Hey I agree that Zimmerman is guilty of manslaughter but you can't call giddyup's post comical or off base if you are trying to judge this with an open mind. Giddyup is absolutely right when he says that she is biased. And she is most certainly not an eyewittness. Having said that I think there is enough evidence to charge Zimmerman with manslaughter and have Zimmerman tried before a jury. But giddyup makes valid points and to say otherwise is just being biased.
I read those; nothing more? I have rejected no witnesses but neither do I leap to conclusions about what they said that some of you do. It will take time to sort this out. The first stretch is not a good sign for your conclusion. If more comes out and Zimmerman deserves conviction, I hope that occurs. So far, we have a 13 YO boy who saw nothing but an aftermath. The dead man's GF who "heard" a body hit the ground and some guy who saw the end of the scuffle. Is that right? A mortician is not a medical examiner.
Thanks for admitting that you, too, are untrustworthy. I don't know about you but if I mistakenly waltzed off with someone's thousand dollar camera, I would immediately drive three hours voluntarily to get it back to them. That would be a zealous effort. I wouldn't wait 10 days to let someone in charge (the Scouts) know what I had done and then wait three more weeks to return numerous phone calls. If that doesn't bother you, you are at the heart of the decay of decency in this country.
Can you guys keep the camera discussion in the other thread? I'd rather keep following how one side interprets missing facts as definite racism and guilt on the side of the shooter whereas the other side interprets missing facts as probable guilt of the person who got shot.
