If that doesn't work, calamine lotion, though it's not much good. Going to have to suffer a few days.

Yeah calamine lotion. Poison Ivy is one of those things I don't wish on anyone. I am super-allergic to it. Do all you can to not scratch.

Calamine and a whole lot of patience. I never want to go through that again.

If its just in a small area use Calamine Lotion and possibly Burrows Solution. If its real bad go to the doctor and get a shot of hydrocortizone, and some pills. When I get poison ivy, oak or sumac, it can last months. If I go to the doctor, it usually goes away in a week or two.

If you want some temporary relief, take a very hot shower. It will itch when you are in the shower, but it helps after the shower. Put as much hot water as you can on the poison ivy. They also sell some products at the drugstores that might help, you could ask the pharmacists what he recommends. I had the poison ivy a couple of years ago and it took quite a few days for it to go away, so I know it's not fun.

If you're as allergic as I am it can be a pain in the ass to get rid of. It spreads like wildfire on me.
    Calamine lotion is a must.
Use a soap with not moisturizers in it. You want to dry that stuff up. Something brutal like Lava soap works best.
Disinfect the things you touch often, and wash your sheets as often as possible.

A couple of years ago I got it a day before I was to go to my brothers wedding. I had it on my face and balls and on my chest. My face was clear at the time but ever since that happen my face have been ruined. But I used this med that works great. It will make your posion ivy go away in half the time. But you are gonna need a prestription to get it. Its called Hydrocortisone cream.

A GGG partner in a loving, trusting relationship, who's into that sort of thing?

If not, you're probably thinking of a toilet. Yes, a toilet.
