I say we sign Dragic to be our third guard. He's first guard off the bench behind Lowry and the Starting SG, that way he gets a lot of playing time and beats up on the second unit. He'd be our own Jason Terry. That makes either Lee or Martin expendable. Dragic and Lowry can both play off guard so they can play at the same time.

Dribbling a lot isn't always a bad thing. Dribbling a lot and going nowhere definitely is, but Dragic doesn't do that. The fact that he doesn't pick up his dribble easily is a good thing. His turnovers are actually about the same as Lowry's, while his stls and assts are higher.

 

Love Dragic but sometimes he will dribble way too much and forces bad passes. He needs to get his turnovers down

 

Heck, I`m new here too. This is just my second post, but it`s a little funny that this is coming from a guy who joined in March 2012. I can see, that you have over 170 posts, but if I can remember, most of them are just beeing negative about everybody for a sake of beeing negative.

And Beno is not a bad player. Not as good as Gogi, but not bad. And yes, I`m from Slovenija.

Lowry is laso I dunno both are a SOLID PG..and easily could be the TOP PG in the league thats crazy...Now Morey is prob lke dang!!! probaly dont want him get to much attention to keep him easier haha

-Yep yep. Goran learned from one of the best point guards of all-time. This can't be overlooked. When he dribbles into the post and nothings there and turns back out to the elbow for the jumper has Steve Nash written ALL OVER IT.

-Dragic is a pure shooter where Lowry is not. He also has a little more length to him which makes him way more efficient at playing the passing lanes.

-It's crazy to think that Dragic was basically a throw in for Pau. Kinda says a lot about Morey's desperateness to undervalue Goran like that.

 

I wouldn't call Dragic a pure shooter...he's had his troubles, especially from deep. I think he just has a better feel for shooting and has been able to improve because of it.

I think Morey just overvalues Gasol and realized Houston wouldn't be in the bidding for Dragic.

Dude lowry is one of the best on defense when it comes to the pg position, no where near a liability. I think a lot of you are underrating lowry because we haven't seen him play for a while. Don't forget he was almost an allstar this year and got us a ***** load of wins.

 

Lowry is good he's more like a SG to me but of course hes running PG..but hes good i dont know man its hard to tell.....Gragic easily double double...

 

He is all that.

Lowry, Dragic, and Lee in the backcourt is 48 minutes of hell on the opponent.

 

Gragic is good as Lowry sorry to say but its true or could be better Gragic can defend also he just never got to start to show his real skills now it is..look at his stats man..it's ridiclous and not far away from lowrys...he does everything..rebound/assists/steals..hes just a great player...and consistent btw...playing all those game he scores double digits n double doubles.

We are fortunate to have both, don't have to choose at this point, maybe later. Nice problem to have.

 

He was getting exposed by quick PGs like Parker and Wall. He played at an all-star level at the beginning of the year and then he just fell off all of a sudden. His shooting % isn't all that good.

 

Lowry didn't get exposed against Parker. Lowry averaged around 17 points, 8 assists, 6 rebounds, 2 steals against the Spurs this season in 4 games.

What he did have trouble with is guarding Parker in their last 3 meetings, that part is true. But then again, so does the rest of the league.

Note that in February Lowry was averaging 17 points, 7 assists, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals.

And in the four games he played in March before the injury he was averaging 16 points, 5 assists and 5 rebounds, 1 steal.

Dragic has been amazing as a starter so far, but Lowry has been no slouch this season. He ran into a slump not long before the all-star, but since then he has been playing terrific.
