I wouldn't be surprised if the MIP was Lin.

MIP could be Lin but I think Lowry deserves it as well.

Highly doubt either of Wade or Paul make the 1st team over Westbrook/Bryant/Rose.

    lol What?

Someone hasn't been watching the NBA much this season.

Kobe hasn't had a very good year, aside from leading the league in scoring on high output of shots.

Rose has missed half the season already.

Paul is 4th in PER. He's a better player than Westbrook is right now statistically and changed the Clippers around from being a non playoff team to a contender. Although, I wouldn't be surprised if Paul and Westbrook both made first team.

Wade has also had a pretty good season. Better than Kobe's at least. But like I said, I wouldn't be surprised if Westbrook made it over Wade.

    It'll most likely be

    Paul
    Wade
    LeBron
    Durant
    Howard

Aside from FG%, you really think Wade is having a better season individually that Kobe?!!!

Also, the Bulls were 28-6 when Rose was playing! Yeah he's missed a good amount of games but the season's not over. His and Paul's numbers are fairly similar. And I would hardly consider the Clippers a contender. The Rockets are only 3.5 games behind them!

And Westbrook, well he's having arguably his best season yet and his Thunder are on top of the West...

Yes, Wade is having a better statistical season than Kobe.

Part of being on the all-nba team is also being healthy. Rose hasn't been, and there are a couple of more deserving guys so therefore I'd say he's not likely to get it. The Clippers are surely a better team than they were last season and that's mainly because of Paul. Numbers are the same, yeah, but Paul has played more games.

I love Derrick Rose as much as anyone here, but he won't be 1st team all-NBA unless weird things happen in April. Howard, LeBron and KD are locks on the front line. Two of WB, CP3, TP, Wade and Kobe will make up the backcourt. I'd go with CP3 and Wade. Rose will be either 2nd or 3rd team.

MVP: LeBron or KD (to be decided next Thursday?)
    DPOY: Howard
    ROY: Irving
    SMOY: Harden
COY: Thibs (Pops a close 2nd)

aside from field goal attempts, you really think kobe is having a better season than wade? PER 27.8 to 22.3, WS/48 .250 to .141. those are enormous differences that fairly accurately indicate how much better wade is than kobe these days. i have no doubt the voters will once again give kobe wade's spot on the 1st team for about the 4th or 5th time and hell, they might even give kobe another 1st team all-defense. doesn't mean he'll deserve them.

and based on this thread, it appears the movement to give durant the mvp is in full force.

    the first team should be:

    paul
    wade
    lebron
    durant
    howard

If Kobe makes all-nba 1st team again, along with all-nba 1st team defense, it's a disgrace.

I dont care about who gets what award cause I think its all based on popularity so I stopped caring about that. But performance wise, I have to give it to Kobe on the sole reason he has to work hard for every point. I understand the chunks up the ball way too much but in all honesty if he didn't then I don't think the Lakers would be where they are right now. Mike Brown's offensive schemes are absolutely horrible. Everyone keeps saying feed the ball to Bynum and Gasol but Gasol is effective close to the basket but Mike Brown has him 16-20 ft out all the time. And Bynum is still too immature.

Bryant doesn't deserve 1st team, he chucks so much this season and is really bringing his team down.
