Stephon Marbury is available for the rest of the season, it seems. Should we sign him? McHale drafted him. The team can use guard help. He can also bring back Chinese fans to the Rockets.
i will be 100% okay with this..the man has changed and proved he has the heart of a champion, would love to see him in the NBA again even if its not with the Rockets
I'm okay with Stephon on this team. He could be that old wise guy in every movie who has had an epiphany.
How much is he making in China? and how much would we be able to offer him, realistically, to come off the bench?
the Rockets don't need Chinese fans to succeed, and they certainly don't need Marbury. he would not be playoff eligible.
I don't remember the exact date and feel free to correct me, but in order to be playoff eligible one must be signed on with a team prior to the 27th
I'd take Marbury, if Dragic leaves and Lowry is traded. I really doubt he will leave his Chinese team to play backup. He is treated royally and like a prince. Now that his Beijing team won the 1st championship ever, it would not make sense if he comes to play NBA and sit a majority of the game. He will bank more in China than US. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhTp...DvjVQa1PpcFPDtacBQXwlej16IIcspjt0MiAXaZ2xsRg= Seeing Marbury enjoy himself is pretty cool, I hope he makes more money than that chump KG.
^^ Dude would be humbled to play in NBA again, same with AI. These guys won't eff up chemistry anymore.
I thought the rule was that the player couldn't be on another NBA team's roster after the cutoff date. Maybe the Heat would be interested, if he is playoff eligible?
It was tweeted by someone that Brooks was just going to let this season pass and become an unrestricted free agent next year
Their last game Marbury scored 41 while Brooks scored 33. You would think Brooks should be the one who is playing better.
lol........ Marbury and Garnett would have been very good..... Like McGrady he went for a bigger contract.
