Do you believe if the circumstances were the same, but the victim was white/hispanic/asian the media circus would be the same? Would Obama have spoken out? Hooodies on this him? Black Panther bounties? Why is there so much focus on the race of the victim and shooter? Hardly anyone is crooning about the law in this case because those who profess to speak for the black community are mostly race-peddlers for their own self-interest.

It's a real distraction from, as you said, focusing on the law itself.

Did you ever consider that the key difference in this case was that the police *didn't* do their job, and that's what made it unique? I'm pretty sure both black and white people get killed by both black and white people all the time in this country, and most don't become national stories.

This story didn't become national news because of race. It became national news because of all the weirdness of the circumstances and the apparent lack of interest by the police.

So if a black man is not arrested after killing a white man while playing basketball with his daughter the police are doing there job.

But if a white / latino man kills a young black man while on neighborhood watch but is not arrested the police are not doing their jobs.

You don't see the hypocrisy in what you are suggesting?

 

This has already been proven. The police did not arrest Trevor Dooley a black man, after he shot and killed a white man while playing basketball with his daughter.
