Like to have been here: http://elcomercio.pe/player/1384898 Wonder what explains this kind of behavior? Did they try it again?
After seeing the Cove that would have been a nice score on Dolphin meat. Should have sold for profit.
If your not joking and did watch the movie, the Dolphins they herded up for Spoiler slaughter were ones that where rejected for dolphin show sales. Their meat isn't considered a delicacy. It's considered about as popular as Pink Slime. BTW, WTF Sonar?
Is that all you got of this video? Oh yeah, I remember you so I'm not surprised. Anyway love the video. Good work people, if I may quote Da.
I have read various theories as diverse as sunspot activity to seismic shifts, all of which can variously theoretically mess with the dolphins' sonar receptors, to their ability to sense and navigate along the magnetic lines of the poles, and all sorts of things in between. Perhaps they were fleeing a predator and got disoriented, these in the video looked smallish, maybe they were adolescents, got lost and panicked. Bottom line, nobody knows, but these particular ones were very fortunate that there were people nearby who were willing to help.
Great video! 2000 years ago this would have been a human miracle of tasty dolphins appearing out of nowhere to a hungry tribe. Now it's a dolphin miracle of being rescued by strange two-legged land creatures. We are gods to this group of dolphins. GODS!
