Yeah, true, he always has love for Houston but more than likely ESPN won't be putting him on any Rockets games.
Thunder and Heat are the same team except the Thunder have more meat in the paint. Thunder are the better team. However, Thunder won't come out of the Wast....and I'll be mildly surprised if the Heat come out of the East...unless Rose doesn't get healthy.
On paper I feel we match up fine, plus we've won 2 games, one in their house. In the playoffs I am scared of them. I think we have a realistic chance in any other matchup, but I remain convinced that the Thunder are winning the West and there is no one that can stop them. It may take 7 games, but they are winning the West. You have to remember we have a BIG if on Lowry. And Camby's injury, is it going to impact his game? Maybe it's just the cloud of bad sh$@ happening to us that I am this pessimistic. It doesn't make me any less of a fan, I root for my team, and I will always cheer for them. This match up just doesn't look good for us. Which is why our team needs to wake the f up and realize that we can't afford to just limp into the playoffs in the 8th spot. The Thunder are on one level, the Spurs a bit lower, and the rest of the teams are pretty much even. Oh then we have to remember the Refs, and our lack of a star to even out the bs calls. I think that is the biggest reason the Rockets can't beat them, they have Durant and Westbrook, while we have the defensive minded players in Lee, Parsons, Lowry, and Camby to help out, their names don't garner the same attention the refs give to those two. Martin seems to be completely ineffective in this system making our bench even smaller. Just praying we play anyone else.
honestly taking okc to 7 games would be awesome i surely think we can do it but i think we cant win tht 7th game in okc durant will score like 50
Haha Skip Bayless "I've been behind the Rockets all year, they have heart. That Kyle Lowry, Steven you know he's been my guy since his days at Villanova, he is a warrior." We need to make it to the playoffs first.
Has nothing to do with the league in this case. The thunder are the better team hands down. In the playoffs the thunder can turn it up some notches. The rockets played at peak level just to squeak out those wins.
I disagree, I am a true rocket fan, but I take the realistic approach. I want the rockets to win, but lets be realistic.
i'd rather play against westbrook than jason terry that is for sure. At least with the thunder you know that it's durant and westbrook. You don't have to worry for average basketball players getting career highs every time they see rockets red.
If we make the playoffs I am more worried about our guys, a lot of them have never made the playoffs and with Lowry & Martin probably not there who can provide the veteran leadership? We know Dalembert despite his many years still doesn't give his all every game so my guess is nobody will listen to him. Lee has been to the finals and Dragic & Scola have some experience but that's about it. If Boykins sticks around, maybe he can provide it. Camby I haven't see play enough games to say whether he can calm them down on the court. He apparently already has a positive influence during time-outs and on the bench so that's good to hear. I hope we do make the playoffs but these last 10-15 games will tell us everything we need to know about our team. If we can make big come backs, fight until the last second, come through in the clutch and most of all: hold and protect leads by any means. It's time to protect that point and knock some people around. Get some technical and flagrant fouls, nobody should want to mess with the Rockets! Right now, teams might only want to avoid us because we're unpredictable
