It may be the homer in me, but I would classify Lee as above average. He is a real two-way player. His defense is very good and he can score efficiently.

I'm confused by what you said regarding Morris, since Morris is a 3 while Martin and Lee are both 2 guards. I don't see how Lee and Martin are taking minutes away from Morris unless someone is playing out of position.

More athletic version of Detlef Schrempf with worse shooting and much worse FT shooting.

Go back to my original post about converting Parsons into a 2 guard. Bill Worrell made a comment about Parsons being a 2 guard in the future, I think he can do it since he can guard 2s, 3s, and 4s. This will allow Marcus Morris to play more at the 3 in the future, along with Dontas at the 4 next year.

I think this is the route the Rockets need to look at. When the Rockets won Championships in the 90s, they were a tall team. I think when we had Tracy and Yao we missed the boat because we kept getting short players, because they may of have been a bit more skilled (Aaron Brooks, Luther Head, and Chuck Hayes just to name a few) than a player who was taller but as we can clearly see now size matter when you are trying to win a Championship.

I have been waiting 17 yrs to ride down to Richmond Ave again!! Since we can not get an All-Star, lets start bringing in players who create mismatches(tall for their position, who are productive on both sides of the ball).

Oh, by the way, I don't think C. Lee is a bad player. I just don't see him as a long time starter. I would love to bring him back and trade Martin but I don't think there is going to be a market for Martin this summer and I think C. Lee is going to command $5M - $6M per yr, plus they are going to try and resign Dragic at that same price. Lowry at $6M, Martin at $10M and with Lee and Dragic at $5M - $6M that's too much money in your back court.

Lee is a very good roleplayer, but a definite upgrade could be had.

ok fine, but then i'm going to say parsons is like manute bol, but white, shorter, more athletic, a better scorer, and not really a shot blocker.
