I believe race played a factor, but that's secondary to the point I was making. Zimmerman thought Martin looked sketchy. That stuff happens everyday in life depending on where you live. Martin thought Zimmerman was being sketchy. Both perspectives make sense. I'm not condoning those thoughts, but it's not illegal to have them and I understand. The thing is, if Martin had a gun too, he'd probably be legally justified in shooting Zimmerman as this dude was following him in a unmarked car, chased him, got out packing heat, and confronted him. It's messed up that two misunderstandings can lead to legally justified shootings. Zimmerman should have a heavier burden to justify action on his paranoia since he's the one with the gun, but that's just my opinion.
I said initially that I agreed with you there wasn't enough evidence to conclude he was racially profiling when he made the call. He could have been or he could not have been. Either way I think it's a distraction from the case and other more relevant evidence.
At least two of his calls were to report potholes and at least two more were to report opened garage doors.
so how many calls in a period of that time? lets say 50.. so during that whole period there were only 50 individuals walking at night?
LOGIC: All racist do racist actions but not all racist actions are done by racist. I think most of us are saying this was racially motivated. Which can happen . . . even if the person doing the action . . is himself not racist. Rocket River
have you heard it? it sounds like c**ns right? what other word sounds like c**ns which can be used to describe trayvon?
I have seen enough that I think Zimmerman is guilty of manslaughter. Chasing Treyvon created a flammable situation and the gun was the dynomite.
I found it: http://www.sanfordfl.gov/investigation/docs/911CallHistory.pdf Here are all reports with any regards to race: Oct 2004: Sees white man carrying a paper bag near blockbuster. Sept 2005: White guy driving car with out of state tags. June 2007: Reported 2 hispanic men and 1 white guy with a slim jim outside of a car. Police came and they were locked out if it. Nov 2007: Called about his white ex-roomate being at his apartment a few days after he moved out. His ex roomate and random people were throwing things at George's truck. Jan 2010: Called to complain that a white couple was arguing outside. April 2011: Calls to report a 7-9 year old black kid as being unsupervised on the street. Says he is concerned for his well-being (Will give him the benefit of the doubt here since he did call about other kids). Aug 3, 2011: Calls and reports a black male that could have been involved in the recent burglaries. Aug 6, 2011: Same as above except 2 black males this time. Oct 1, 2011: Same as above. 2 suspicious black males. Dec 10, 2011: Calls about a white server at the club house that showed up wanting to work and get paid. Feb 2, 2012: Calls about a black guy being in a white man's residence. Feb 26, 2012: Trayvon Martin There seems to be a trend from Aug 3 to present. He did not report any suspicious white or hispanic people walking or driving around.
I noticed that too. Not sure what it means. Did he suddenly become a racist/race profiler six-seven months ago? Seems unlikely.
According to multiple sources, there had been robberies with the suspects being black over the last year or so. He was racial profiling and stereotyping Trayvon and linking him to the recent robberies because of his skin color, what he was wearing and wasn't normally in the neighborhood.
Lolol, I know you post tongue-in-cheek, but please keep it up because the entertainment value of people taking you seriously is good. F'n goons always get away. By the way, isn't goon supposed to be like mob muscle men?
