I think we can all move on from the nonsense about Zimmerman having his head bashed in repeatedly, and cast serious doubt on the broken nose story. When Paramedic's have the tiniest of open wound from just sticking a needle and drawing your blood they give you a cotton ball, and a band aid. There is nothing at all. Also when cops are dealing with suspects who are bleeding they wear gloves. These cops did none of that. I think the focus really goes on the job the police did now. Some of the other witness coercion and ignoring has been talked about, but the fact that police held Martin's body for three days and initially identified him as a john doe even though they knew who he was. Why would they do that? Also the fact that the police report isn't really backed up much by the physical evidence that we can all see. I hope somebody finally gets to the bottom of all this.
In part. I think part of the defense attorney's job is get these out there to paint what their client did in the best possible light. The result is just sad though.
Have you guys seen the new video? Shows Zimmerman checking into the police station, no blood stains or any sign of struggle, face seems clean and simple, he seems to be in good health and walking normally, not even a stain on his shirt or anything
Batman that shows how insensitive you are to Bigtexxx's humiliation and domination of me. I am only glad he didn't obliterate my anus. Texxx have a good vacation in Europe.
I really can't wait to see the evidence photos of the "damage" Trayvon did to Zimmerman. THe Police would take those right? RIGHT?
From the aerial photo of where the incident took place it looks like it was near a walkway. I can't tell if its paved but that might be the pavement being referred to. Anyway I am willing to accept that Zimmerman had a wound on his head, most likely from when he fell down from a blow to the face. From the video though it doesn't appear very severe and if Martin was trying to pound his head into the pavement he did a very poor job of it. I am not saying also that Zimmerman is deliberately lying. In these kind of situations the amount of adrenaline that kicks in along with being dazed from being hit in the face can sometimes create confusion when trying to recollect things later. My guess is that Zimmerman either felt the back of his head hurting and presumed that Martin had inflicted that or in his panic after being knocked to the ground believed that Martin was going to bash his head in. As I said earlier I can fully accept that Zimmerman actually believed that Martin was going to kill him the problem though is that just his feeling alone isn't enough for a self-defense defense.
They should have but given that we haven't even heard where Martin was shot I am not sure those will be forth coming.
Yeah, I would think Zimmerman would still have some sort of packing in his nose if it was that severely broken/bleeding. If his injuries appear to be minor and no witnesses overheard Martin saying "I'm going to kill you tonight" after seeing/reaching for Zimmerman's gun, then I don't think his claim should hold up enough to avoid being taken into custody. Still shocked that the police didn't at least check Zimmerman for alcohol while he was at the station.
I'm shocked at a lot of things the police didn't do. I'm shocked at their report after seeing this video. I totally agree with you about the nose having some packing or something if there was any real damage done. Like I said before paramedics give a cotton ball and band aid for something as minor as drawing blood with a very small needle prick. Zimmerman has nothing. and the cops aren't using gloves at all like they do when they deal with bloody potential suspects.
He has a shaved head. If you had you head pounded against the concrete I would think there would at least a little blood for a scratch and in that case wouldn't the paramedics put on band-aid. The DOJ should be bringing charges against the whole pd for failing to protecting Martin's civil rights.
Not only that, someone here (I think judoka) said that Martin was shot in the back of the head. That means one of three things: 1) Zimmerman shot Martin when the fight was over and Martin was in retreat- in this deadly force is not authorized. 2) Zimmerman's story is false. 3) Zimmerman is super human and was able to unholster his gun, stretch his arm around Martin's head and shoot him while being beaten up.
Pretty sure he was shot in the chest at close range: http://www.washingtonpost.com/national/tracy-martin-recounts-police-version-of-son-trayvons-death/2012/03/28/gIQA6MKhhS_story.html?tid=pm_pop Then came the second encounter, according to Tracy Martin’s recollection of the detective’s account. Trayvon Martin appeared from behind a building in Zimmerman’s gated community, approached him and demanded, “What’s your problem, homie?” When Zimmerman replied that he didn’t have a problem, Martin said, “You do now.” The unarmed teenager hit Zimmerman, knocked him to the ground, pinned him down and told him to “shut the [expletive] up.” During the beating, Zimmerman pulled his gun and fired one shot at close range into Martin’s chest. “You got me,” the teenager said, falling backward. ------- "You got me"... lol...
Hmm from that same article it says that the SPD wanted to charge him with manslaughter that night.... do we just pass the claims of a racism to the DA's office?
