I see your point. I was just curious why those who were making such a loud outcry about media manipulation attempts in one case, don't say a word about this. It wasn't even so much about people doing it, but about the lack of concern from the people who were so concerned in one instance. It's just odd to see people up in arms when it happens in once case but not in the other.

There are two other possibilities. Zimmerman never lost him and confronted him and a fight ensued. The other is that Zimmerman lost Martin, but Martin followed Zimmerman and ambushed him. I would not be surprised if the defense attempts to go with the ambush angle. We have not seen all the evidence, but if it is plausable I am sure they will go this way. They will play up the time of day, easy confusion, that Zimmerman did not know who was hitting him, that Martin wore a hood and you could not tell how old he was and the only obvious features were that he was 6'3". They will point to the 911 tape where Zimmerman said he was not even sure that Martin was black. Obviously the DA will play up that Zimmerman initiated the encounter by following Martin, and that Martin was only 17 years old and unarmed. Unless something breaks, this will not be an easy case for either side. The rulings of the court concerning the past of both Martin and Zimmerman may be crucial, as well as the eye witnesses. I expect one, if not more will change their story prior to trial and it will be a large factor in the outcome.

That is insulting to Martin and his family. Everyone is using his death as a commerical event....... His own mother had his name trademarked, CNN and MSNBC were irresponsible in their reporting; which resulted in massive attention and ratings...... Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton have used the death to build political capital..... anti-second amendment advocates have used his death to invoke for political gain...... even the President has weighed in on a matter that is still developing.... Seems to me that everyone cares about everything except the fact that a 17 year old is dead.
