    Why did we sign Boykins and immediately sign Fortson for the rest of the season with an option on 12-13? My guess is we are not bringing Earl back after these 10 days which is a shame and means we are tanking somewhat quietly.

    We don't know if Lowry returns this season and we don't know when Martin will return. So signing Fortson for the rest of the season is a 'decent' signing, but it doesn't means we will not resign Earl.

    I think we will keep both. If Lowry returns, Dragic can also be back-up SG. McHale already played with both at the same time on court. If Martin returns, Dragic will be starting PG (no-brainer), but we'll still need 'decent' back-up guards (PG) like Earl and Fortson.

    So, am I the only one who thinks Earl Boykins looks exactly like his name? If I didn't know anything about the Rockets players and you asked me to pick out "Earl Boykins" from a team photo, I'm pretty sure I'd pick out Earl Boykins. "Earl Boykins" just sounds like the name for a 5'5'' basketball player.

    I mean, "Boykins" is a combination of "Boy" and "Munchkins."


    The other guy who looks like his name is Chase Budinger. If you tell me to pick "Chase Budinger" out of a lineup, I'm picking the whitest guy available every time.
