What do you mean by he hasn't gone on record? He has given his story to the police and has spoken with multiple news outlets. You are right however that he doesn't want to give his name to the media. I wonder why he might be afraid to give his name to the media. I mean it isn't like there are marches going on in his hometown calling for Zimmerman to be arrested. It isn't like the Black Panther Party just publicly said they will go out and hunt Zimmerman down. It isn't like most media organizations have been painting this as a case of a white man executing a black kid. I wonder why a witness who could support Zimmerman's claims would be afraid to have his name put out there?
well that changes everything. people in hoodies talking to themselves should all be killed. kind of a no brainer.
It's obviously ridiculous that fake pictures were used. However, there is a difference between reputable sources like CNN, MSNC, NBC news, CBS news, etc running those pictures and some right wing blogs running fake ones that spread on twitter and message boards.
Yep. That's what I said. Don't be a jerk. I wish all the people who are too immature to have rational discussions would just get out of this forum. The poster made a statement that because he was on his cell phone it's silly for anyone to think he looked like he was going to rob someone. "Come on people." The point I was making was that if he was using an earpiece with a hoodie covering it there's no way Zimmerman could have had this apparently obvious thought that "Oh he's on a phone! Everybody knows robbers don't use phones!"
First, they interviewed Zimmerman twice - on scene and at the police station. Second, the statute does allow - and even requires - that the police make some judgment about the usefulness of testimony. Third, presumably the police will make some recommendation to the DA. The DA may differ, but in your scenario you seem to think that the police should be nothing more than stenographers.
Using pictures provided by the family isn't wrong even if CNN, MSNBC, CBS, or ABC do it. Using pictures that are fake and aren't even the same person is wrong no matter who does it. The second is definitely an attempt to smear him, and change people's perception of the victim.
I don't want to argue about the media bias with the pictures of Trayvon. I agree that the using of fake pictures is obviously wrong and obviously an attempt to smear him. Who can dispute that? The point is it is being done by minor league radical websites and bloggers.
I wonder Pgabs, do you take any pride in being nothing but a snotty antagonist? People like Franchise can have a good conversation. We can go back and forth. I don't see why you aren't capable of the same.

Aww, there is that civility for which you are so famous. You know what they say, once you resort to veiled insults you have already lost the argument.

Combined with bigtexxx's rather overt domination fantasies of other male posters, it paints a picture of a truly complex, albeit troubled fellow.
