Look up highlight vids of Lin in HS and Harvard, he was pulling stuff like this all the time. Hell, Lin went coast to coast on UConn in the NCAA tournament. The difference between NBA and high school is the defenders are weak and can't play defense. Any kid with half a lick of skills can get highlights on any given night. I want to see how Tang does in college before proclaiming him the next JLin.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I9S2n01bGmI lin setting the precdent for 5 tos a game at an early age! lol
That was probably in his freshman year, he looks short there. You know Lin was only 5'3" in his freshman year in highschool, ended up at 6'1" before going to college and then 6'3" at the end of College.
The Tang kid looks very mature for a 15 year old. His body doesn't look like it has much room to fill out.
Don't know but I have seen the footage when he was at his best in HS, winning the title and he was bombing 3s and and slashing to the hoop, and setting up assists. This is one, but I saw another better video somewhere rom his last year, not on Youtube - looking for it <iframe width="480" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/PiG1h5S3vh8?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

modern-day hoosiers story. they need to make this a movie. lin reminds me of "rukawa" from slam dunk.
Lin showed flashes of maturity and poise in HS. Hitting the winner against Mater Dei is an example of that. He's got great court vision and passing skills at that age. I don't know much about this Tang kid other than the highlight video. I hope he does well, but like I said he won't be able to do those same moves against grown ups in college and the pros. He's got good handles and dribbling and his footwork seems to be great. But again, it looks like he tends to play a lot of 1-on-5. That won't fly in the NBA when faster and more physical defenders will shut you down and you need to get the rest of the team involved.
